He's still only 19. He's had a disappointing second season but precious few would've been able to do what he did in his debut season at the age of 18. He still has plenty and plenty of time to start scoring prolifically.
Off after 13 balls at Canterbury, and with more rain forecast for tomorrow that could well be the end of the match. Officially the season still has three weeks to go, but on days like this I just think, what's the point? Might as well end it all now (the cricket season that is, I'm not quite that depressed - give it time though).
Tell me about it. Its funny how fast things can change. Although Jones / Mason have had many injury problems in recent times so we cant say we were surprised. As for Arif. He started brilliantly but has dropped off considerably over the last few games since he got his nice contract. Not that im saying they are linked of course

He truly is one of the worst bowlers I've ever seen play such a large amount of international cricket. Right up there with the Sajid Mahmoods.

One of my favourite players. If Houghton was coach he would be still stuck in the second XI. Fleming was his 2nd wicket in first class cricket. He got his maiden century and took 7/74 in a game recently.

With Mumbai. Harbhajan Singh told the franchise to get him but Brown declined the offer for he wanted to, "honour his deal with Surrey".
I can't believe Surrey will still go through with the Shoaib deal for it makes no sense but neither did signing Chris Lewis or Alex Tudor...I thought it was something like that - as I said, maybe he could still take up that offer. Would be like a second benefit for him, and if the likes of Chris Cairns can still play there's no reason why he shouldn't. Hoping that Surrey will give him at least one more game, ideally in the Pro40 next week at the Oval.

As for Shoaib, we should get him just in time for the final CC match of the season, by which time relegation will have been confirmed (and which will, of course, be rained off).
