So Martin, ready for another avatar bet ahead of the game this weekend? I think i've had the pleasure the last couple of times, but i think you'll be favourites this weekend.

A month of the other persons suggested avatar? Presumably you are going?

Notice the 606 quote on the league 1 page on bbc is "I feel very confident going into the Oldham match that Tranmere will scrape a win" by a certain GreenacreMyLord not you is it?

Can anyone give me a quick but solid list of English football players who were stars in the league during the 70s while England where in the international wilderness?

Yeah, it's on for sure. Usual stipulations, winner picks the losers avatar for a month?

That's not forgetting our season long bet that you're currently winning.

And no, sadly it's not me. Gun name though.

Newcastle, oh dear.
Have the utmost sympathy for Keegan here tbh, he's tried his best at a club which is clearly full of arseholes and seems like he has been totally undermined as manager through all these new players coming in which he clearly didn't want or know anything about. I'd wager that he basically said to the board "sack Dennis Wise or I leave", and their response was pretty obvious. Hope they get the backlash from the fans that they deserve, what a mess.

Has Jamie Carragher always been this much of a wanker?
I'd say he's lower-mid table in the ****s league tbh. My main gripe is that he's slightly whingy &, unfortunately, has an almost stereotypically high-pitched scouse accent, which makes him come off as more of a moaner than he perhaps is.

FTR I'd say Neill is a bigger wanker in the general run of things; certainly "mistimes" his share of tackles.

Watched a replay of Arse vs. Toon earlier today. Jeez it must be good to be an Arsenal fan when they're playing well. Such amazing football to watch.

AWTA, neither of them are particularly high up in my estimation, though as Corrin has said, it's pretty stupid of Carragher to divulge this information whilst he's still playing.

Nah, being an Australian, Neill is therefore a legend  :p
