Does anyone anywhere know if Keegan's Newcastle manager or not? Mad state of affairs.

My money is on him not being the manager for much longer tbh, the statement released by the club earlier on sounded pretty dodgy at best, and though it said that he hadn't been sacked, it said nothing about whether or not he had simply walked out.

Also can quote it as saying "we would like Kevin to stay on as manager", which to me sounds like they're preparing themselves for him to walk out.

THis is incredible:

Billionaire businessman Sulaiman Al-Fahim, the front man of Manchester City's new owners Abu Dhabi United Group, says he is willing to spend £135m on Cristiano Ronaldo to bring the Manchester United winger. (The Guardian, 2147 BST)

The estimated wealth of the Al Nahyan family is an almost unimaginable $1 trillion (a thousand billion dollars) or more than £560bn.

peaking to arabianbusiness.com, Dr Sulaiman revealed he had set his sights on Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Arsenal maestro Cesc Fabregas and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres. "Ronaldo has said he wants to play for the biggest club in the world, so we will see in January if he is serious," said Dr Sulaiman.
"Real Madrid were estimating his value at $160m (£90m) but for a player like that, to actually get him, will cost a lot more, I would think $240m (£134m).
"But why not? We are going to be the biggest club in the world, bigger than both Real Madrid and Manchester United."

Well considering that all 3 of them are injured, i'm currently a better player to sign than Fabregas/Ronaldo/Torres.

Putting in my application aws. Sighting my record of 3 straight league titles, Twice CL champions, 4 straight league cups, and 2 FA Cups (including a Quadruple in the most recent season) in my FM08 game.

EDIT: Either that, or I'm sure Guus would be keen.
