But when you said it was 8-8 it was Gilchrist who was leading 8-7. Had you closed the poll at the time (which I assume you were doing at the original time of posting) Gilly would have gotten through.

Looks like the problem was Indipper who said 'Vote Miller' after already voting which could misinterpreted as a vote for Miller.
