LOl at the comment from someone on the BBC live text service about the Bolton WBA game 'Reebok update: Possession is equal here. 10% each, with 80% in the crowd
To be fair it was always a fixture to make the purist weep. Several thousand cricked necks on the morrow.

Meanwhile I've donated another fiver to my favourite charity, Ladbrokes. Feel I should apologise to Neil & grecian as I took Exeter to beat Luton Down as one of my home wins on the fixed odds. Managed an impressive 0/4 so far.... 8-)

late goal saves our blushes at Colchester, we'll take a point having been 2-0 down, still unbeaten but our 100% record goes...no one with a 100% record outside the prem now

Whites won 4-1 yesterday but it wasn't enough to stop me calling for Ronnie Moore's head. Team selection is shocking and will see us safely into League Two IMO.

Hmm, I'll blame you then. In fact I'll repay the debt with a pointless Scaly-type dig. I see Arsenal played well again after they got rid of that pesky Englishman.

Chelsea one-up, Bentley really isn't one twentieth of a player he talks himself up to be.

City sign Zabaleta

A good signing imo, gives us good depth at the back which was exposed late last season when Micah was injured.
City also sign Glauber Berti

I like the Zabaleta signing but another defender? Why we have enough depth at the back... except for left back so why does Hughes continue to buy Central Defenders?

EDIT: WHY THE **** IS SWP ON THE LEFT WING?!!?

EDIT EDIT: SWP is now on the right wing

Unlike you guys its cricket>football for me. Plus i don't have this complex that i see with you caucasian blokes (nothing racial intended) where you guys have such passion for the clubs you support & players but not the national side.
Ridiculous post, this. If one of us came out and said "yeah, the problem is that black people don't care about the national team, they're all about their clubs", you'd be up in arms. Anti-white racism is the same as anti-male ***ism - for some reason, it seems to be completely acceptable.

You can't bring race into the equation and then say "nothing racial intended". I would suggest you go back to talking about football rather than race, but to be honest that's just as likely to lead to you saying something dumb, so I give up.

8| ESPN Soccernet saying Torres is being replaced by N'Gog due to an injury. Anyone able to tell me if it's serious?

Also, reckon Smith & McPinch are frothing over SWP aws

Torres went down clutching his hammy apparently :(

Suggestions it may only be a strain from goal.com live commentary.

Am using the pub's free WiFi at the moment, they've got the game on. It didn't look serious at all, he just pulled up when he turned and sprinted for the ball. He was hobbling a little but he could still walk. Two weeks out at most, I'd say.

Not normally a fan of Alan Green and his whining about dire matches, yet the Villa-Liverpool match was every bit as bad as was made out. Both teams happy with a 0-0. Joy....
