Fev finishing on 99, what can you say? Incredible effort. He missed three opportunities in the first, one a post. So close.

We didn't play well though tonight, granted the Hawks are the second best side in the comp, but we sort of shut down in the second and really couldn't keep up once they'd gone to another level (similar to WC last week).

Brilliant year though, finishing with 10 wins and on top of Essendon with a very bright future ahead. Can't wait for '09.

Congrats on finishing outside the 8 with probably the best injury run in the comp. Essendon's future is much brighter than Carltons.
