Do you have any news on Moeen Ali? He's not even in the OD team nowadays.
He's regularly played for the Second XI's so he's not injured. He was in the First team at the start of the season when Hick was out injured, but once Hick was back he was replaced pretty sharpish :)

The problem is we have a pretty good top 6 who are all in some sort of form, so its very hard for him to break in. Moore, Michell, Solanki, Smith, Hick, Davies. Who does he replace?

Anyone watching the Pro40 game between Notts and Durham? Just switched on, I didn't know it was on tbh. Durham 147-6 with Chanderpaul holding it all together - I guess he's used to that by now though.

Great finish here ... 8 wanted off three balls, with the hapless Pattinson on strike. Four wickets have fallen in the last 15 balls.

And there goes another run-out, what a collapse. All went pear-shaped when Wagh retired hurt.

Yes I watched that game and despite all the rain interruptions and having to bring the D/L method in, it boiled down to quite a fascinating finale. Chanderpaul was his typical self, while I thought Steve Harmison bowled very well with pace and accuracy.

The game took many turns, ultimately when Mark Wagh had to retire hurt, the Notts innings capitulated somewhat.

Another terrible selection game by Lancashire. One clearly not up to it opener retires, so what do you do, replace him with the young former England U19 opener who's rarely got a chance and leads the second XI averages? No, bring back another failed opener. And Smith still can't get a game, I almost hope he leaves at the end of the year (it looks a massive possibility - I would if i was him), they should at least let him go back to Leicestershire.

Yeah, Chilton's cack. It's pretty hard to believe his got some many gigs for Lancs over the years, let alone be captain at one stage.

signed a 3 year contract extension earlier this week so i hear
Interesting. I wonder if the Titans will now drop him from there Champions League squad?

Apprently, CSA is now using that as a carrot to keep players from going Kolpak.

It also does seem strange that Faf went the county cricket route for his a top limited overs cricketer, could have got a decent IPL contract.

Alex Tudor has gone on loan to Surrey and is straight back into the team. Offically Surrey's season is over, turning into a joke of a side.

Kabir Ali takes 3 before tea to take his tally for the season to 55 at 18.41 with the Steyn-esque strike rate of 31.0.

EDIT: 102 FC centuries for Ramps, top effort.
