Neil Craig has also said that the Crows are interested in Didak. Maybe we can get a decent pick if Port and Adelaide are both interested? It's interesting with Kerr maybe moving and how valued this draft is, with a couple of decent picks, we could maybe land Kerr, although that might be rather like trading Paris Hilton for Lindsay Lohan... (I'm not sure which one's Hilton and which is Lohan however).
Besides Kerr, Brown and Chapman are the other really interesting players who aren't signed onto contracts yet. Brisbane might want Didak (although obviously we'd need to throw in something pretty good with Didak to make that deal - first round draft pick?), but Geelong probably wouldn't - so it would maybe need to be a three way thing. Otherwise, this draft sounds good enough (and with the compromised drafts coming up) that I think we should just try to get a good enough draft pick for him. We might get screwed a bit, but after the wash up of the Hudson outing last year, I can't see how we can keep Didak and still have any credibility as a club.
BTW, it would be Heath Shaw who might be traded, not Rhyce. Neither is at all likely really, barring further misbehaviour, but while Heath was unlucky to miss all-Australian last year, Rhyce may well win the Copeland trophy this year.
