That was biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig.

SA lead now up over 300. Would prefer them to declare now rather than let the last 3 wickets get gifted to undeserving bowlers, but I suppose de Villiers might have yet another double-century in mind.

FFS, could just see Broad being gifted a meaningless wicket. Helluva catch tho.

Why the hell would Smith not declare now with ABdeV out?

Oh FFS, Broad gets De Villiers and in all likelyness salvages his Test place for the next Test.

Beevs'll be spitting, MSP gifted a meaningless wicket there. Damn, this tailenders batting does annoy me.

It would seem that no number of poor bowling performances will make the selectors keep Broad out of the Test side and with one wicket, the same number as Flintoff who has bowled sublimely, the selectors have a vague excuse to avoid the fact that he has once against been below par with the ball.

Think captains should nominate "useless batsman" where applicable TBH and they should be excluded from bowling wicket tallies.

Flintoff should be bowling now. Can just see Broad being gifted this last one too.

Pattinson drops another one - won't say thank @$£% for that until Broad doesn't get gifted the wicket anyway.

Sure enough, eventually it's MSP who gets gifted the last one.

3-65, all of whom are non-batsmen. It's pretty ridiculous when a high-class seamer like Flintoff toils away for 40-77-1 and a spinner gets that out of 522.
