I have a copy, quite a good readThanks, I'll look into that. I work with an Eddie Pooley and I'd be curious to know if he's some relation. Unlikely I know, but my friend is from a south London family and the cricketer Pooley died in the Lambeth workhouse. I might be able to spot a family resemblance.
SJS has written one, but we have a bit of a back log at the moment, will put it up next Thurs, as I still have one from NC, Stumpski, FF, and about 12 from you and meNice review of the Larwood book. It would also be good to see some of the SJS magic worked within the book review team
By the way Arch, do you want me to email you the review of Hirst and Rhodes, or do you want to cut and paste it from the other site?
Cool - I'm interested to see what SJS, NC and Stumpy have done. I've got some more that I can throw together when you want them.I still have one from NC, Stumpski, FF, and about 12 from you and me
Great, I keep telling James we need more space on the front page, but it is falling on deaf earsCool - I'm interested to see what SJS, NC and Stumpy have done. I've got some more that I can throw together when you want them.
Would have thought there was a decent chance given Pooley's gargantuan virility (eight illigitimate children and all that). Thanks, I'll look into that. Lets all contribute for a new ear piece for the poor guyGreat, I keep telling James we need more space on the front page, but it is falling on deaf ears

Looks good, will read in next, once I have finished 'The Book of The Two Maurices"
