I hear Big Daddy V will soon be available for a place on one roster or another :p

Boogeyman also soon to make a comeback apparently. Bet you can hardly wait.

I suppose Santino would be semi-available, but as we all know, he's not exactly great in the ring, and would be better off used elsewhere.

Big Daddy V was drafted to SmackDown in the Supplemental Draft. So we'll have the pleasure of seeing him in the, uh...flesh...in November.

Boogeyman - who cares? He'll come back to ECW, have a couple of crappy feuds and then probably get released.

Santino is supposed to be getting a girlfriend, a bodyguard and potentially a stable sometime soon, so obviously they have something planned for him. My guess would be that they'll bring another tag team or two up from developmental or something. Chris Harris and Ron Killings are both supposed to be coming up to the main roster soon, maybe one or both of them will lead a tag team.

Why the hell are those two in development?
Would assume it's because WWE wanted to keep them off air for a bit so the fact that they are TNA guys would be not so fresh in peoples minds. Looking forward to them coming up though, enjoy both guys work, especially the Truth. Killings supposedly in line to be pushed hard as well, wonder if they'll try and work on that supposed heat between him and Cena. Would be worth watching I reckon.

Also    @ D'Lo, what a nublet. Can't wait to see him back again.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind seeing the likes of Big Daddy V and Mark Henry in the ring? They are man mountains and frankly their presence alone is impressive, I realise they are rather shoddy in ring performers (V in particular) but wrestling against these super super super heavyweights is a different spectacle to other matches, a David vs. Goliath type battle ensues, of mind over great matter.

Love Big Show though, such a gun.

Yeah, Killings is quality but there's been quite a bit of heat with bringing him back. He and Brian Gerwitz (RAW head writer) don't work well together but he's really popular in the locker room. Jeff Hardy especially loves the guy amongst others so I'd expect him to go to Smackdown.

Apparently there's some confusion about they're going to do with D'Lo. Reportedly Vince wanted him to be his "clean cut" African American champion (what lashley was being groomed for) but elsewehere they've gotten an idea of creating another African American stable to go with Obama's Presidential campaign.

I'd prefer D'Lo and Ron got on different shows and were pushed individually but either way I'm down with the Brown being back so not fussed right now.

It's the fact that they can't take bumps of any note let alone deal them out that gets me annoyed, esspecially with V. For example, if you put them in a match with someone who mainly uses a lot of suplexes or other moves that require a lift (i.e a powerbomb or something similar) it kind of rules out any of this happening, because they are far to heavy, which usually means matches turn into punch after pung after punch, then a powerslam or a big splash by V or Henry, then the opponent usually spearing them or delivering one of the worst chokeslams/spinebusters you have ever seen for the win. I may actully prefer V if he was put over as a face of sorts, or even if he was just a lower card heel, but when he's packaged as a ME competitor it's just not viable for me personally.

You have to admit though, they're fun to watch in the Rumbles. Perfect resthold material for about 5-6 guys.

Ron Killings to end up on ECW one feels, which also just means he'll show up on Smackdown every odd week as well. Chris Harris just made his WWE debut but not as Chris Harris, but as Braden Walker

WWE's impulsive need to copyright everything and rename everything doesn't do much for me, although I understand it in terms of their need to protect their intellectual property.

Chris Harris has already lost his real name, his achievements in his career thus far and his recognition as a well known Independent and TNA wrestler and subsequently has also lost his own marketability. I mean the guy was only part of one of the greatest modern tag teams in America's Most Wanted. Name value carries a lot of weight in wrestling, so this start to his WWE career is not encouraging.

They've already given Matt Sydal one of the most popular Independent wrestlers in the world a crappy name (Evan Bourne I think he's called) and now they call Chris Harris Braden Walker. I hope AJ Styles or Samoa Joe never end up going down there, who knows what they'll be called.

Raw was a decent show this week, nothing special. Still feeling good about CM Punk with the World Title. Not really looking forward to CM Punk vs Batista though. I can't figure out why Batista has been in every single main event match on every single PPV for the last 4 years. Plus Face vs Face never works well, not to mention the completely different styles of CM Punk and Batista. Just hope Punk retains and moves on to face Chris Jericho or someone close to his own style.

I replied to this post yesterday as well, and it disappeared too. WTF is going on with my posts disappearing?

Anyway, Harris made his WWE debut last night on ECW, and I have to say I'm not impressed. I hadn't seen much of his TNA work at all so didn't know what to expect, but last night he looked overweight, totally lacking in charisma and was pretty sloppy in the ring. The supposed crossbody that he ended the match with looked like he barely even made contact, let alone covered the other guy's body. I know the guy has a big rep so I'll give him a chance, but "Braden Walker" is gonna have to get better to get over with me.

As for D'Lo's return, I'm stoked. Can't wait to see him back on our screens. This is the first I've heard about a new "Nation of Domination" style stable, but it sounds like a solid idea - put it together on SmackDown/ECW with D'Lo, Killings, Mark Henry, Shelton and Big Daddy V. Would get over well.

On the topic of super-heavyweights in general, I'm in the same boat as Athlai - I actually don't mind some of them. Big man vs big man matches are usually quite slow, but they can be done well - sometimes the mere sight of a 400lb plus man being lifted off the ground is enough to make a match entertaining. Who can deny that Lesnar superplexing Big Show and breaking the ring was a seriously awesome moment? Similarly, Hogan slamming André is the most iconic moment in the business' history, and there's countless others involving big guys having moves done to them that stick in the memory. Mark Henry being F-5ed is another one. There's nothing that says every match should involve two technical geniuses or two high-flyers - but you've gotta book it right if it involves a guy who can't really have any moves done on him, as sledger says.

oh my god what have they done to him. what the hell is he wearing, what the hell is he doing jesus christ. ugh. I hope it gets better. And I hope Ron Killings isn't ****ed over like this :(

also Estrada is a ****ing monster. I always thought he looked like he'd be a chubby git like the Coach but he is nothing of the sort.

Cool to see Tony Atlas get involved on ECW, wonder if it's a short term thing or if he is coming back in a managerial role long term or something? Would be interesting to say the least, possibly the front man for this new NOD stable that is potentially in the works.

Yeah, Estrada is a monster for sure. I'm not sure I like his ring attire though, he always looks like he's been wearing a suit and hasn't expected to have a match. If they want him to be taken seriously then he should at least wear some tights or tracksuit bottoms in the ring.

The Tony Atlas thing was cool, I figured it'd be your usual Legend appearance where he helps the face gain a victory over the arrogant heel who bad-mouthed him earlier, but the heel turn was a nice surprise. Also, it's always funny to see Colin Delaney get a beatdown. I do like the way the kid sells. If Atlas and Henry are gonna be the basis for this new stable, then that could be interesting.

Just took a casual peek at WWE.com's "Summer Skin" feature on the Divas, turns out myself and Michelle McCool have the the same favourite film, or at least one of them - Remember The Titans. I might start a Foley-esque obsession with her now.
