Another idea would have been to leave your team in the safe custody of someone you trust. Probably best to let the battrick Stasi know, in case they decide to ban you or something, but it can work.

I knew someone who had a whole 'board' for 'their' battrick team - a coach, a selector and a transfer manager as I recall. It worked pretty well for them. Not sure whether that's allowed or not.

Yeah, I was going to suggest that as well. But Battrick mods can be a bit iffy on such things. You would think someone taking care of the team and not doing any dodgy transfers would be fine...

Yeah it's real shame, all you have to do is set your default orders. No point getting rid of all your players because you may have the time to come back to it.

I stopped playing a few seasons back because I thought it was taking up too much of my time but I now I log on maybe once or twice for a day, glance at the TM and results then log off again and maybe spend 20 mins tops.

Will miss the banter and updates anyway!

Have drawn Aussie Pride in the 7th round of the Cup. Should be a really close game if he GFI's, our batting ratings are the same and my bowling (exceptional-exceptional) is marginally better than his, if at all (remarkable-exquisite with two spinners, wonderful-elite with the single spinner and another paceman).

With Mullis, Mulholland & Bhutia now losing their fielding nets, it means I can accommodate 3 17yos this season, so another 17yo batting trainee is my next target. It's happening pretty quickly but within a couple of weeks I will have 10 of my 11 positions filled by long-term players... just that 7th batting spot wide open.

won a tense round 6 cup match today ftr. on the back of 100s to clegg and duggan reached 320/8, before restricting bases bbs to 306/9. khulekani with some clutch bowling at the death, while allison and winters got hit around. much easier opponent next week so in whenuapai tradition, should be able to stroll into round 7 as per usual. allison and winters are really the weak links atm
