1. The salary cap has been reduced from 64 to 60, after analysis of a financial report on Season XIII spending. This should still allow teams to sign a reasonable squad.
2. Banked points (ie, those remaining from last season's contracts) are considered as 20+banked = 5 Season XIV points, 15-19 = 4, 10-14 = 3, 5-9 = 2, 1-4 = 1.
3. Each title and trophy earns a team 2 points. Thus CW Black won 6 extra points last season, and CW Blue won 2.

Depends on whether the new contract player rule has been passed or not. If so then Richards would be classiflied as contract player and therefore you have five extra points. The other point would be Stedman downgrade.

Well, considering I had 18 points left and Borcich and Stedman to sign, and with Stedman confirming (before his update, I might add, so it is included), I should have 9 points left with Borcich yet to confirm (who is 8). If Richards is in fact classified as a non-contract until his current contract is up then I would have 14 points left, but seeing as though nothing has been announced, I'll assume it hasn't.
And according to the last post, I have 15 points left after signing Stedman for 9, which by your math is completely wrong anyway, even with the extra 5.
