**Official** New Zealand in England

Let this be a lesson to all those "lets play Southee now!! Suppporters", he's not ready. 68 for 1 on a helpful wicket isn't really good enough.

Styris and Flynn to bat for the draw then.

Wow Ambrose has some impressive debut figures, he scores a run a ball infinity.

24 extras? 24! And three bowlers over 60 in their 10. Who are we missing that could come in, Patel, Gillespie, Franklin and Bond (damn BCCI). Oh well, lets see McCullum and How chase this down.

Was the pitch doing a bit early on?

Sounds to me like the bowlers were terribly off the mark today.
Mills had a shocking first over, went for 12, and it was doing a bit. 47/0 isn't that bad, Mason was pretty poor along with Southee, Mills first over and death aside was quite decent. Vettori somehow manages to make the rest of the team look dire yet again.

I feel pitch is now good for batting and early on there was some movement in the air that made batting difficult for England. However, that was great performance from Pieterson & Bell.

New Zealand at this time, have chances IMO...They can do it with the arsenal provided they get some luck

Blakey

State Vice-Captain
Marshall with an average of 10 comes to the wicket when NZ need a batsman like Taylor to continue McCullum's innings.
