Collingwood gets 5 wickets for 14 runs from his 4 overs, as Derbyshire finish on 114/9 (scoring only 34 runs in the last 8 overs). But it's dark and wet over the Riverside, and good bowling conditions, so should be a good second half to the match

Interesting - Kevin Pietersen bowling against Middlesex. He can't do much worse than Nantie Hayward anyway.

I never get why Durham nearly always prepares such low scoring Twenty20 pitches, seems a bit pointless really as it's not like it's ever helped them get anywhere in the competition.

I don't know either...particularly today playing against Derbyshire who have 2 spinners, and they don't seem to have brought the boundaries in at all.

Durham going in to bat now (eventually)....reduced by d/l to 7 overs, with 48 runs required, in very dark and damp conditions.

And Di Venuto runs himself out second ball, with no runs on the board.

Durham win, just, with one ball to spare. Doshi takes a hattrick, in virtually pitch black conditions. Exciting stuff, but it shows how bizarre cricket is, playing in the dark, with no floodlights at 9:30pm, just because it's 20/20.

Good start from Kent, Arafat is such a legend. Hope Stevens is ok though, he's a big player for us in 20:20 and it would be a big loss to lose him for any extended period of time.

Just switched over from the Test for a while as you never know when you might be watching Graeme Hick for the last time. Feasting on Carl Greenidge atm.

169 to win, might be a good contest this.

Greg Smith of Derbyshire has made a hundred against Yorkshire - perhaps the first batsman to do so in T20 without having made one in f-c or List A games?

Michael Vaughan was in Yorkshire’s 20/20 side, scored a two ball duck which is pretty good for Yorkshire for at least Michael didn’t waste twenty odd balls scoring nothing.

Also, top figures for Charl Langeveldt once more in 20/20 (9 for 4 of 4), his career average is now below 15 and his economy rate is just at 6.04.

Did you catch the bit when Nasser Hussain said dead seriously that both Hick and Solanki should open internationally (limited overs cricket) for (paraphrasing) “we would know, what we would get”?

Amazes me how he can't get into the Pakistani one day team, his head and shoulders better than the likes of Anjum or that new guy with no pace.

In regard to Stevens if he is out (for a while) can Kent recall Dexter from his loan at Essex?
