Aye. There's so many pitfalls involved in designing this sort of web app it's not funny, and it seems like Allan leapt in with both feet. They're not hard to avoid if you know what you're doing, but eliminating them once they're in there isn't trivial.

Must admit to getting a little frustrated after paying money for it. Mainly don't like the sickily sweet excuses instead of a straight-up apology. Also didn't help that after battling to an amazing draw last week, we're getting creamed this week. :p

Was looking set fair to hit full batting points, but some quick wickets after tea look to have put paid to that. Reset's going to cost me 3 points, then. Not the end of the world.

End of Over 73 (Maiden). Beard XI: 249-7, runrate=3.41
Lead by 190 runs. (Beveraging Free 59-10)
Keigher 21-7-52-1
Gill* 0 (2 balls)
Marriott 0 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Alshaun Run Out 27 (FOW: 249/7)

Hmmm, having reduced The Flying Wickets to 15/4, they've recovered to hit 391/9 by the end of the day. Last time I bowled them out for 145. Pretty annoying.

Meh, still going to win be it a bit tougher than last time.

Cant be bothered to fin the last one i did of these, but its safe to say it looks nothing like this. Tucker shouldnt be far off Quality bowling, so that area of my team is fairly solid.
Two big downfalls though, my stamina isnt up to scratch, will have two free nets soon, so they will go into stamina nets, giving me 3, slowly get them good enough to play both forms. Other one is, its safe to say i have the worst top order of any Div III team in any country. Wilkinson being trained, will probably train another one next season.

If you're up for a laugh, check the scorecard of my FC match... and then the RS. :( Ah well.

Well, instead of finishing the match today, i decided to bowl my bats to get to Day 3, has probably cost me the match, will be chasing 500+ at this rate. Hoping for a draw.

Gah, would've almost given my left nut for a YP like BD. Can't believe you got 2 resps in 3 goes (assuming they're both your YPs?)

End of Over 1 (2 runs). The Heath CC: 2-1, runrate=2.00
Trail by 389 runs. (The Flying Wickets 391-10)
Jackman 1-0-2-1
Mclean* 1 (1 balls)
Read 1 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Caldwell b. Jackman 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Woods picks up the last wicket to finish with 4/57 and we lose Caldwell second ball. Not at all disappointed by that - we don't have a chance of getting anywhere near batting points without Kepler so I've set them all pretty attacking in the hope that we get bowled out twice today and get a day off.

Awesome, just got my trainee for the season for £520,200 with no opposition at all.

Marcus Hay (1893996)

RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, lively fitness.
A defensive player with woeful leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: The Heath CC
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 5,468 (-9)
Wages: £1,039 p/w
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: respectable Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

He's English (big plus), has a decent wage although that's obviously affected by his mediocre wicket keeping and he's all mine. On 2 bat to start with, will get Kepler's stamina net in two weeks when he pops to superb and will put him on a fielding at some point as well.

Between half and three quarters of the way to proficient batting, if you believe the spreadsheet from garyjones.co.uk. Nice buy.

My opponents are batting again: 8 overs, 7 maidens, 1 run and 2 wickets. They're really, really crap for a team that's in div IV OD.

End of Over 28 (Maiden, 1lb). The Heath CC: 28-9, runrate=1.00
Trail by 363 runs. (The Flying Wickets 391-10)
Warlow 14-7-16-5
Talbot* 5 (48 balls)
Hardy 2 (24 balls)
Last Wicket: Woods c & b. Warlow 0 (FOW: 20/9)

LOL. New record there for all forms of cricket I think, assuming these two don't put on a massive tenth wicket partnership. Which they won't.
