19.3 W	Mcgreal to Beaumont
That's a beautiful hit down to fine leg, they should take a single here. Beaumont wants to come back for two, his partner says let's go. OH NO, IT'S A RUNOUT, Morrell claims a direct hit! And no runs will be given as the first run was short!
Go and get ****ed you stupid ****ing game. My bowlers, who are so much better than his take nothing and get smashed about, and his ****ing ****s go for no runs and take my best bats. Such a ****ing **** game.

Going to go on to the bugs board, make up some **** and get this week replayed.

End of Over 40: 175-3, runrate=4.38, reqrunrate=4.70 (221-10)
Hamlin 10-0-45-1
Hawkins* 5 (2 balls)
Hicks 87 (122 balls)
Last Wicket: Lunt c. Moloto b. Hamlin 31 (FOW: 170/3)

Wouldn't mind a few quick wickets, otherwise they'll chase this.

49.1 6 Morrell to Stonebridge
Fabulous catch on the boundary... but the umpire's signalled six! Robson put his foot over the boundary to take the catch!

End of Over 49: 285-4, runrate=5.82, reqrunrate=1.00 (285-7)
Robson 10-2-60-0
Stonebridge* 105 (83 balls)
Brinkhuys 108 (106 balls)
Last Wicket: Beaumont Run Out 3 (FOW: 77/4)
48.6 4 Robson to Brinkhuys
Overpitched outside off stump and that's an open invitation to Brinkhuys to help himself, very nicely driven through cover, no need to run for that.
48.5 1 Robson to Stonebridge
Flicked around to wide mid wicket for a single.
48.4 1 Robson to Brinkhuys
Cuts a rising delivery away to third man.
48.3 4 Robson to Brinkhuys
Timed to perfection. You don’t need to run for those.
And that's a century for Brinkhuys! Well played indeed Sir!
48.2 1 Robson to Stonebridge
On leg stump and he flicks it away to fine leg.
48.1 4 Robson to Stonebridge
That's a great shot there by Stonebridge. He just stands and delivers; flicking it just behind square on the leg side, purely using only timing and the pace of the ball.
And that's a century for Stonebridge! Well played indeed Sir!

Who needs Beaumont? So amazing. So happy. Love this game.

BARNES OUT
Gah, would've almost given my left nut for a YP like BD. Can't believe you got 2 resps in 3 goes (assuming they're both your YPs?)
I would've gotten 3 if I'd pulled right in the first week. Went for a keeper bat and got a med bat, comp-comp bowl. Was devo.

Anyway, won my first match in Div 3 today thanks to some big performances especially from Coburn.

Robinson 8-0-57-2
Quintin* 76 (67 balls)

Lucas, Ellis and Quintin got 50s. The rest got five runs plus 2 byes. Need a Jeithoon special to win this. Can't see him doing it with a worthless form, but pretty happy with the batting effort. Mind you if he bowled his gun bowler through we would have been rolled for under 150.

EDIT: Hodge was 4th highest score with 4 runs, gun.

What form of cricket is this? What is this thread about? Sorry, but I dont want to read 7509 posts.
Battrick is to cricket what futsal is to football. Or what futsal would be if the players were obliged to wear wing-tip shoes, dayglo orange bandanas and affect a thick Russian accent when appealing. Not that you appeal in futsal, but you get the idea.

Bonus points for using Sean Connery's Russian accent; that makes it twice as likely for the appeal to succeed.

I reckon nine posts til there's a serious answer, minimum.

Yeah, I'm stuffed:

End of Over 15: 57-5, runrate=3.80
Skuse 1-0-1-0
Janes* 31 (41 balls)
Oleary 0 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Alshaun c. Taggart b. Seneviratne 0 (FOW: 56/5)

Only an Oleary berserk-o-tron special can save me now, and I don't see it happening on a H+F. Good job I spent that 2 mill on Boardley, too; a golden duck on OD debut to go with the majestic three in FC. I back him to come good, though. Like Ian Bell, he's got all the shots. *snerk*

The players are off the field for the break between innings.

End of Over 50: 265-10, runrate=5.30
Ross 9-0-55-2
Castle* 81 (57 balls)

Not a massive total, GFI'n as I always do against these guys.

End of Over 1: 3-0, runrate=3.00, reqrunrate=4.53 (224-10)
Ingham 1-0-3-0
Steyn* 3 (5 balls)
Clunnie 0 (1 balls)

2 5 fers gives us an opp to get in an early away win against some big rivals...

Also there is a chance of much improved ratings today.

Kepler 23 (23 balls)
Last Wicket: Caldwell b. Gerber 15 (FOW: 23/1)

Decent stuff on a PAN - usually GFI against this team (the one time I PAN'd I lost by 8 runs last time out) but after some superb death bowling from Turner (5/35), we're looking good to win this one comfortably.

Incredibly, it's tense stuff in Beardland. Having made just 109 in my innings, we fought back to have them 43-5. However Piercy and Marriott are now leaking runs, and it's unlikely Oleary and Pead will be back on in time to help. Just 36 runs left to play with, and I really need one of these two to pull a finger out:

End of Over 25: 73-5, runrate=2.92, reqrunrate=1.48 (109-10)
Marriott 6-1-22-0
Taggart* 38 (44 balls)
Ball 2 (29 balls)
Last Wicket: Osbourne c. Marriott b. Gill 2 (FOW: 43/5)

Kemp 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Knight c. Binnington b. Greaves 0 (FOW: 83/3)

Hmmm

Bit worried.

And that's the end of the match. Nige's Hootnannys won by 142 runs.
Nige's Hootnannys 265-10

**** me got roasted!
Not a great start to the defence of our title.
