That really was a wonderful delivery, some may criticise Vaughan for the extravagance of the shot but it really came back a long way.

Yeh good delivery but bat well away from pad, I'd say Vaughan will not be impressed at his shot selection, especially given the ball before was an appeal for caught behind.

Yeah after watching it again the forward defensive would have been a far better option to negotiate.

He was batting pretty extravagantly throughout his innings.

Again, the comparison with last year at Trent Bridge is there for all to see. Not least with how India's openers approached things. Obviously too complicated for our bunch of thickies.

Cook was more erroneous than over-aggressive - he was attempting a defensive stroke, and simply attempted it when a leave would've been better.

Vaughan possibly can be blamed for over-aggression.

Strauss so far has played it perfectly.
