That's what I'm trying to say. This match and this pitch does not equal the rest of the tournament.

I seriously love watching Raina bat. Great to see him in good nick in time for the final. Seriously impressive demolition job by Madras here.

Hope the Super Kings win this. Mum raised Madras, close enough to a connection since Hyderabad and Bangalore sucked balls :p

Haha, what's more Indian than a good old fashioned South v North final. Love both teams to be honest, wouldn't mind either winning for me.

Nah screw that, South India represent :p

In all seriousness, Rajasthan deserve it, but it'll be so Dhoni to come from nowhere and have his team win. Its pretty much been his captaincy story so far.

The Kings XI should open the transfer window and dispatch James Hopes to Bangalore. We've had (hopefully they too have had) enough of this. Dreadful, match-losing bowling.

Knee-jerk much? This is what I would hate about the IPL if it became this over-serious and such anger would directed to players for a bad match here and there. Settle down, IMO.

Hopes was dreadful with the ball throughout the IPL, and did little with the bat. Then there's Yuvraj's temptation to bowl him despite having a tiny total to defend and five regular bowlers at hand.

He'd fit in Bangalore a lot better. A hard-hitting batsman and (hopefully) decent seam-up bowler would suit them so much better than some of their international picks.

I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination but Punjab have had a great tournament and he is a useful player. If your team has one bad match and then you start getting rid of people, what message does that send the rest of the players?

Haha what? No, you're right. Jayawadene, Sangakkara and Yuvraj are all crap batsmen aswell, because they didn't score in a 20/20 match.

??????? Blah.

Lol.

I like the name Chennai, but Bombay was such a better name than Mumbai. Wish they never changed it.
Agree with that. I wish they change the name 'Mumbai Indians', though. Maybe the Blades? Sorry, Sheffield fans.

Yuvraj was never in good form until the match against the Royals, and yet the Kings' management preferred to maintain status quo, rather than stretch themselves. And this is the outcome.

Mahela was also scratchy throughout the IPL. Sangakkara's innings here was a mystery, especially when he was an Orange Cap contender. But this match is proof that these colourful caps count for nothing.

This won't go down too well back in TN.

Anyway, I'm in Mumbai (umm...Bombay), so not too bad.
Heh, my dad's best friend is Tamil and he says that everytime he goes back all the locals still call it Madras.
