Haha, absolutely destroyed. Still a long way to go...

Only the one pop today -

Philip Mcinally - 19 yo, BT Rating=16,651
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, sublime fitness.
A steady player with superb leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: superb Concentration: proficient
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: woeful
Fielding: worthless

Thinking of selling Mcinally & Kerr, freeing up a few nets, buying an exceptional-sensational(ish) bat and also getting a 17yo to use their nets on. How much would they go for? Both 19yo, superb/strong & superb/prof, both with resp stamina. And how much would I need for an exceptional-sensational-perhaps even exquisite bat?

They would probably only sell for 3 million each, and you would be looking at 8-12 million for a decent bat.

Oh dear, wage updates are not a pretty sight.

Looking at £320k, Clemence' wages are only £76k which is a relief but Croft's are £64k and Harris' £46k meaning my bowling attack has a wage of £200k just by itself.

Not going to be able to keep all of them unfortunately. Likely to be Croft I get rid of if I'm honest. £64k is a lot for a masterful-exceptional and I'm likely to get a wad load of cash for him.

EDIT: Expansion of the ground is complete, up to 44k now but that only earns me 320k if it's full....

Decent pop, also had a useless cons pop on Brinkhuys.

Wages could be close to 200, Wikus and Beaumont both above 30k, Sicelo about 20, Brinkhuys about 10.
Thinking of selling him, 9 millionish, would need a bid extremely soon. Someone be interested, f00lins, am looking at you.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Did the math, seems about 120k for wages for me this year, nearly doubling what it was for last season.

Just picked this guy up for an insanely cheap 1.9 million. Will be back on the market in 35 days as a quality-respectable.

A couple of increases:

8. Eddie Ireland - 21 yo, BT Rating=78,311
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime fitness.
A cautious player with proficient leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless

2. Bill Middleton - 20 yo, BT Rating=24,854
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime fitness.
An attacking player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: superb Concentration: quality

Question: How much longer should I train Ireland for? I don't think he's far off 'remarkable' batting or 'wonderful' bowling, so I'm definately training him up to those levels, but should I train him further??

I'm inclined to think that a 19yo superb will fetch upwards to 4.5mil, just.

Have an easy first round cup match @ home against a Div VI side. $$$ from the home game will be nice.
