Clues

He made his Test Debut aganist an African Country

No body can break it..but some one can take this distinction away from him

.this is specific to English players ....players from some other countries might be holding similar distinctions.....

He made is Test and ODI Debut aganis the same country....

Actually 9 (10 in practical) people could have hold this record..he is the only one left now in Englands case

Is the player Chris Silverwood?

If so the record would be he's the first (and only) Englishman to debut against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe

Through a process of elimination we are only left with Mark Ealham and Chris Silverwood as the only English cricketers who

  • Made their debuts between 1990 and 1994
  • Played between 1 and 4 tests
  • Made their test and odi debuts against the same side

I couldn't think of the one thing that was unique to either of them. I guess you must be right. :)

Give me about 10 mins, I'll come up with a question.

As for looking up the answer, I just used debut, in Africa and looked at the profiles, then thought about English players that debuted against Zim in Zim looked it up and he was the only one..

Right then lets have a go with this.

A famous player that holds a feat that has only happened once in test cricket, who is the player and what is the feat?

Did he play 5 tests or less ? No

And how you used the filter

Played between 1 and 4 tests

it would be rather

Played between 6 and 9 tests

or am i little confused here ???
Ok. Sorry. Just an error while typing that one :) I meant 6 to 9.
