Oh aye, the fighting spirit. Will fight all the way to the high court to overturn a just penalty because they're Leeds, and they shouldnt have to face the indignation of being treated the same as everyone else.

Honestly, hated Leeds, then Ken Bates bought them, didnt think it was possible to hate them more, but he proved me wrong. All they need to do is employ Neil 'Colin' Warnock and i can aim all my bile at one team.

Call yourself a United fan, jees......

Leeds are footballing scum, always have been, always will be. 70's they were violent, 90's they were slightly less violent but still an ugly and easily hatable team, 2000 they were money tossing 'lets buy the league'. Now there getting exactly what they deserve. And thats just a united fan, probably the only thing that united and chelsea fans would agree on.

Add to that the Pennine rivalry.

BTW i've been very reserved in that post.

Emm, wouldn't of known most of this see. All I really knew about their past from a United fans point of view was the "War of the Roses" rivalry, which I figure is more of a geographical rivalry.

Utterly bizarre, tbh, even having to explain something that is SO intrinsic to the make-up of most football fans in this country. Leeds are just "dirty Leeds", they're filth. They exemplified, under Revie, the cynical win-at-all-costs side of football, and their fans are just obnoxious ****es.

Hate Cardiff more, mind. Play-up Pompey and all that crap.

Yeah, something about CArdiff thats unlikable n all, bit of a hooligan fanbase too.

Less said about Millwall the better really, and its fair to say most people think MK Dons are a despicable club n all

Cardiff vs Mansfield is the only game i've been to with policemen on horses.

Millwall are traditionally know for being hooligan based.
MK Dons are an abomination for the Franchise FC thing.

Why not, try to, too close for comfort IMO. Shudder to think of them in the top flight

I was actually impressed with Warnock during the Bristol City - Palace game, he knew the game was over with a few minutes left and walked up and shook hands with City manager Gary Johnson and turned around applauded the fans behind him (and it did look genuine as well) .

And RIP to Celtic legend Tommy Burns who died of cancer.

Surely they have won you over with the spirit the displayed throughout the season and now in the play-offs? :p
No. Dennis Wise, after the first game at PP this season, felt it necessary to deliver a "up yours" to our directors' box, admittedly I've delivered many an unpleasantry in that direction over the years but what a ****. Chelsea, Millwall and Leeds, could he be more hated, and then just to add salt to the wound he went and managed Swindon for a bit, who we ain't too fond of here at PP. Then he left so we couldn't return it in his direction after our 2-0 victory at Elland Road, there were three Tranmere fans stabbed that day by the way.

What pisses me off is that they tried to get their deduction overturned even though their early season performances were obviously heightened through the incorrect sense of injustice that they felt through the deduction. It would have been grossly unfair if they had been given them back, IMO they should have had 15 more taken off them for a frivolous appeal.

Relegation to Conference North a sufficient punishment?
