Really good win to the Dragons. You have to wonder why they haven't put out that sort of effort earlier in the season and Nathan Brown may not have got the arse (then again I think he probably would of been sacked anyway) for next season.

I did agree with Greg Alexander's comments about the time wasted when the ref blows time off when they are about to start a scrum, IMO they should cut it back to 30 seconds (or if it was say a 40/20 then it perhaps should be a bit longer) in the amount time can be wasted or a fine should be given out. It's getting as bad as about five or six years ago when a player would line up to take a conversion and would waste three minutes before he did kick it.

How many times this season have the Roosters worn the navy with the red and white V? It's an absolute joke. Gutted about the result. It looks like St George are getting their **** together.

The Dragons were going to win a game sooner or later. I just picked it as last week, not this week. Stupid, stupid Roosters.

first week in a month i havent tipped dragons, had that feeling yesterday too, but they have let me down too often this season to tip them again before they won.

tbf he didnt really do a whole lot, I guess thats probably the most positive aspect for the Dragons, some other guys stood up and had good games.

Did anybody see what happened to Steve Michaels? Ouch is all I can say. Geez Souths really do need a culture change at the club, far all the massive outcry when they got culled they have been one of the biggest letdowns I have ever seen.

Souths just need to learn how to buy players. You don't just buy any decent player on market. You pick and choice and build a side. All these has-beens they have brought have just ****ed them up. Yeah they had some bad injuries, but when you buy a bunch of olders players what do you expect.

And then they buy blokes like Craig Wing, Roy Asotasi and David Kidwell.

I'd take a team full of 13 young cohesive players like Canberra before a team with three decent players and nobodies like Beau Champion and Eddie Paea.

Yep. That's more like it. Kidwell, Vagana and Widders have been on a downward slide for a while now.

Paea a good bet to make the Kiwi side, if Benji isn't fit. Probably say more about how dire NZ are then anything about Paea though.

Can't see NZ having any other pairing than Rovelli & Roberts tbh.

RE: Souths, harsh on Merritt imo. He can play, just wish he'd find some form. Kidwell has never been any good afaic. He's put 1 good hit on Mason in a test match, but that's about all he's ever done afaic.
