What's the go with four teams, or any teams for that matter, having a bye this weekend? Byes make more sense next weekend or one of the Origin weekends.
Clubs asked for periodically byes during the season, rather them all at once during Orgin.

Newcastle have signed Cronulla hooker Isaac De Gois as the replacement for Danny Buderus. I guess Michael Ennis will go to St George then.

St Helens have signed Tony Puletua for next season.

Adrian Purtell looks likely to leave Canberra, he's already been to Melbourne to have a look around but I think he might end up at Newcastle. Leading tryscorer in the NRL this season so would be a good get for anyone if he can fix up his defence.

Not really, Bennett want's Priddis at Saints so I'm not convinced he will leave us now, imo it was either Knights or us and with the news De Gois is going there it really shortens our odds of keeping him.

Hope we do tbh. Playing some excellent football.

Got to love the fact the only reason De Gois is leaving the Sharks is the fact they have better hooker in Seu Seu. Great work there by the Knights. Interesting times at the Sharks though, looks like Ricky looking to get rid of some dead weight i.e Kimmorley and Ross to free up some money so he can buy the players he wants.

Round 7: 25 -27 April 2008
Broncos vs. Rabbitohs Suncorp Stadium
Cowboys vs. Storm Dairy Farmers Stadium
Dragons vs. Roosters ANZ Stadium
Sea Eagles vs. Bulldogs Brookvale Oval
Sharks vs. Wests Tigers Toyota Stadium
Titans vs. Warriors Skilled Park
Bye - Eels, Knights, Panthers, Raiders

Cowboys, Tigers & Bulldogs could all win, but I tip form rather than team v team form TBH.

get rid of deadweight to buy more deadweight (Barrett and Ryles)
They both have to be the most shockingly soft (and lacking in hunger) players in rugby league. They've skated through their whole careers in a comfort zone.

Barrett yes, Ryles imo gets a lot of unfair critisism, I don't think hes that bad. I mean against the Sharks sure he screwed up and gave away the penalty that won the game for Cronulla and people were giving it to him for days, but he was easily the Dragons best that night. His stats were 45 tackles, 17 hit ups for 142 metres and 6 offloads.

All the favourites. I'd like to see North Queensland get up though.

Simon is Colin Best leaving Canberra or not? They said on Monday night the Storm want to sign him, are they the only club who wants him or others are interested as well?

Yeh he's most likely leaving, depends on Purtell really. If Purts goes then I think Best might get offered a one year extention but if he stays then there's no room for him. Even if Purtell takes the money from the Storm then I think Canberra are still most likely to wrap up Marshall Chalk, Brett Kelly, David Milne and Brad Cross before Best.
