****ing get in, finally, won the CL.

The Prem was completely abandoned as we failed to iwn it for the first time in five years, ending up fourth (had been ten points clear with ten to go) but it paid off spectaularly in the CL, as we won in style, 3-1, against Milan.

I did for a while then decided Mitchell has a point and 01/02 gives it a run for its money. Wish I could see what's going on sometimes though...

Picked up FM for the first time in a while. Have a game as Utd boss i've gone back to.

Won league first season, CL Quarters, naffed out of FA cup by a flukey Villa side (they also did my kids over in the Worthless cup semi's)

Season 2, had 57 points after 20 games, went on an unbelievable cant win for **** run that saw me go 11 games without a victory, untill i did AC Milan 3-1 in the CL (shame i'd lost the first leg 4-1). Was at one stage 1pt clear in the league on 35 games, Chelsea having 3 games in hand. Such was their fixture pile up their players were knackered, and i snatched the title last day after they lost 2-1 at West Ham. The blue buggers have won back to back CL's though.

Nae bad little squad, Carrizzo replaced the ageing Van Der Saar. Ferdinand and Breno glueing in defence, with Barragan replacing Neville at RB (Do have Vanden Borre, but the tempermental little turd wants out, and keeps on skipping training). Leighton Baines at LB, Bodmer in midfield, and Owen joining Tevez and Rooney up front. However keep losing players to silly bids from Italy, and a board that'll take the money without giving me a choice. Lost both Vidic and Evra for £17.5m each, Pique for £20m, and Bresciano for £17.5m (he'd cost me under £5m, and was fantastic for the 18 months he was there). Really narked to lose the last two.

Trying to nab Silva from Valencia (still only £30m get out clause, but last time i spoke to him he wanted silly wages), got Dos Santos coming in on a free from Barca, and think i may have stolen a coup by swapping Pato for Fletcher (i'll laugh if it comes off)

Started a game as Valencia.

I was expected to get a Euro Cup spot so I think I'm pretty much atleast going to do that. Coming 3rd after 14 games. Mark Van Bommel (FC Bayern) and Ezequiel Gray (Racing) Joining on Jan 1st 2008 now 5th Dec 2007. Oh and also seems that Liverpool won't make it out of the group stage of the Euro Championship. Who ever wins out of Schalke and Liverpool joins me in the next stage (hope for Schalke)

Started up a new game on FM2007 with Aldershot again. Really struggled to get my tactics right in the first half of the season and was struggling in the lower half of the table. Then everything clicked and I went on a pretty good run in the league, eventually finishing 9th, before winning the FA Trophy 1-0 vs Kidderminster. Highlight of the season was three games against fierce rivals Woking in a week (two legs of the FA Trophy semi-final with a league match sandwiched in between). Totally dominated every match and won all of them.

Started a new game on 01/02 a while ago where I intend to play out a whole career wherever it takes me.

Started as Doncaster, successive promotions up to Division 2, then, halfway through next season, got offered the job of Morton who were mid-table Scottish Division One. Played out the season, and got promoted the following season. Halfway through my first season in the SPL, mid-table.

Time I joined this thread, kid brother gave me FM07 at the weekend, started a game as West ham on there. Not far into it yet, Tevez just got injured though :@

Just qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Cup, even had the audacity to play one of my U18s in the second leg. had to register him due to the 2 homegrown at West Ham rule, I was not aware of this rule, is it applicable in real life?

currently managing Panathinakos on 01/02. Up to season 2013/14 and this is my my fourth season with them, won the previous two titles, last season went through the league unbeaten and Lazio (twice) were the only side to beat me in any competition. Had a good run to the CL semi's as well, have a few guns (entire squad are regens) so am hopeful of another good year.

Havin g a stinking time early in my West Ham career. Ashton and Tevez both injured, just got turned over 5-0 at home wot Wigan, admittedly I went with 2 at the back when I was 2 down with 20 to play, but still

I only have a one year deal so I need to turn things round, and quickly

Into my 3rd season with Aldershot. After winning the FA Trophy in the first season, I got to the 5th round of the FA Cup before losing 2-0 to Newcastle (made an absolute packet though) and made a huge effort to get into the playoffs, only to lose in the semi-finals against Dagenham & Redbridge's goalkeeper (the rest of the team wasn't up to much).

So in my third season, I'm a couple of months in and have been totally wiped out with injuries. I signed a left sided midfielder on a bosman who sustained cruciate ligament damage before 1st July, but I still had to get him. My replacement on the left (was playing left back last season but plays left midfield as well) scored 4 in 6 games, and then got injured. My new left back has just broken his leg. At one point, my top 5 strikers were all out injured at the same time, meaning I had to dredge some guy up from the reserves to play up front, alongside my right winger.

Some of these are on their way back now, and somehow I'm top of the league on goal difference. Hopefully when they get back they'll stay fit and I should run away with the league.

My best team (when fit)
