Sure enough, I went on a 13-game winning streak at the end of the season (annoying drew the last game 0-0) and finished with 99 points, 8 ahead of York. Baseya came back from injury and hit some great form. Hoping for a double promotion now, as I reckon my team is strong enough to walk right through League 2, especially with three automatic promotion spots up for grabs.

Just had my last game of my first season with AC Milan

World Club Championship: Winners
Euro Super Cup: Winners
UEFA Championship: Winners (Won the Semi on a away own goal and won the final on the same)
Italian First Div: 3rd
Italian Cup: Qtr Finals

3/5 isn't bad annoyed that my Cup ended so early.

Successfully secured a double promotion with Aldershot, winning League 2 comfortably and am currently 3rd in League 1 several months into the season. Disappointingly, the only job offer I've had so far is to manage Senegal, which I promptly rejected.

Playing FMH 08 as Man U, no idea why. Just finished my first season, won FA cup, League cup and Champions League, but ran 2nd in the League. So close though -

1st Arsenal 21 wins, 11 draws, 31 Goal Difference - 74 points
2nd Man U 21 wins, 11 draws, 22 Goal Difference - 74 points
3rd Liverpool 21 wins, 10 draws, 7 losses, 36 Goal Difference - 73 points
4th Chelsea 21 wins, 8 draws, 9 losses, 24 Goal Difference - 71 points.

Had such a shocking start to the season, with about 6 draws in a row against trash teams. Couldnt get the goals, even with Rooney, Tevez, Bojan and Alexandre Pato as my main strikers. Came storming home though, with 14 wins in a row (all competitions), still most of them only 1-0.

Have taken on a job at Fulham, who were mid-table in the Championship having bounced between divisions since the start of the game. I took over in November and towards the end of the season we're now in 9th - have given up on achieving anything this year because the squad is full of second-rate players who were signed in an attempt to keep them in the Premiership but aren't actually even good enough for the Championship and some decent players, such as Djibril Cisse and Collins John, who are unhappy and want to move to a bigger club.

I just want to get to the end of the season, have a mass clearout and put my stamp on the team - hopefully we should be able to promote next season.

Got binned by West Ham without even completing a season in my first crack at FM07. Started a new game as Portsmouth, started off better.

When i've finished reinstalling the bumf on the PC, gonna have another crack at FM, got a bit sick of it running so slow and hogging all resources. Dunno which to do, got 2 choices

1) Start lower league, and build a team from there (would probably have another game as Altrincham)

2) Manage Man Utd, but only select and sign British players, would mean ****ing off the majority of the first team squad when i flog Ronaldo for next to bugger all, so the way to do it would be to either set them all as having moves in the editor, so its pre loaded into the game, or be able to play the foreigners, though be banned from signing any new foreigners.

BTW, definition of British player is either born here, or have a GB passport and NOT represented a non British nation.Even british born but play for some two bit carribbean side wouldnt be eligable. Counting Irish as British, because i'm an imperialist stuck in the 19th century.

Hehe, considering my heritadge (a word I still cant spell), it was a very tongue in cheek remark. Still, for the purposes of football, i dump Irish football in with the british Isle for convenience, and arguments against it get met with 'Half the ****ing squad are English anyway'

LOL this is where I say that the term British Isles is incorrect, Brumby says something about the Irish being British, Richard says they're all the same country in cricket and Mitchell spouts something or another as well

Anyway

LOL

I usually mention that Ireland isn't Great Britain and therefore not British. United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
