the no. 3 for bangalore was the U-19 captain for india. there's nothing wrong with giving him a chance, but you could tell from the lineup that bangalore were always going to struggle: kallis, dravid, jaffer, etc.

No I didn't and I apologize if he has been in good form, but my point is 20/20 seems to suit those that are good at slogging across the line and play unconventional shots as opposed to brilliant stroke makers.

Imo, Dinda bowled better than all of 'em. Ganguly was particularly impressive with some late inswing.

Interesting game, McCullum was magnificent needs to transform that temperament into his test match game & he can very well & become NZ's Gilchrist.

I reckon i might like this tournament after all. Only change i would mae in future tournaments is the restriction of only 4 overseas players per game TBH even though it does give some of the younger players some exposure. If the IPL wants to get that real league like feel to it like the BPL they should pick as much International players as possible (with Twenty20 pedigee of course) & mix them with the Indian national players, but if a young player is capable then pick him, don't pick him just to make up numbers.
