Battle of the Wrestlers

Austin trounces Helmsley 10-3 in a surprisingly one-sided encounter. That means we're on to the semi-finals! From here on in, it gets almost impossibly tough.

Round 5, Semi-Finals, Battle 1:

Weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds, from Miami, Florida.....'The Great One', 'The Brahma Bull', 'The People's Champ', The Rock!

And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds, from Victoria, Texas.....'The Texas Rattlesnake', 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin!

Almost poetic that these guys would get drawn together, really. Gonna have to go for The Rock, as great as Austin was I always thought he never had the natural talent that Rocky did. There will never be another Austin or another Rock, and choosing between them is incredibly difficult. Never will another two performers elicit the electricity from a crowd that those two did when put together.

Have to go with The Rock since he really drew me into watching wrestling in the first place

This is the semi? Damn these two should be in the final.

Austin was the bigger draw and edges Rocky for popularity but my personal favourite is The Rock so I'll go for him.

Yea despite Rock's greater main stream appeal it was Austin who always drew the bigger pops. As for this (semi) Final I would go for Rock since he is my all time favorite.

Prefer The Rock, but objectively, Austin did more for the business, and probably changed its path more than The Rock.

On top of that, his character in the movie The Condemned could probably take out The Rock in 'Walking Tall'

Rocky triumphs by 7-4, securing the first final berth for himself. Second battle is two guys who never came into a great deal of contact during the peak periods of their careers, but I can't help feeling might do in the future.

Round 5, Semi-Finals, Battle 2:

Weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds, from San Antonio, Texas.....'The Heartbreak Kid', 'The Showstopper', Shawn Michaels!

And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds, from Long Island, New York.....'The Hardcore Legend', Mick Foley!
