CW Battrick Cup, season nine

NZTailender

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
End of Over 31: 101-10, runrate=3.26
Towse 9-4-8-6
Knowles* 0 (6 balls)

Pullers played a hand in getting us over the 100 mark. Now, if we can take 1-2 wickets, I'll be pleased.

Congrats Heath :) I'm a little pissed off at the Collapse, it's the first one I've suffered for a while, but there's not much I can do about it.

Two evenly matched teams to be honest. Could have gone either way, especially given the nature of the pitch and your spin bowling line-up. I guess my lower order got me over the line in the end.

I only have 1 spinner though, Hamlin, and he was never going to run through you being a cautious player.

EDIT: Ponies challenged btw.

Best Indies challenged at theirs. Again I should take it, but don't totally rule out the upset, as I'll be full strength for FC, and a possible OD GFI on Friday, so may well be either knackered or depleted for Sunday's clash.

Well played DB, thought you had me in serious trouble, though that's the story of my season. Bowling is toilet, so usually try to get it out of the way first, to try and give Greening/Noon and Co a fighting chance of turning it around for me. Reckon that if the toss had gone the other way you may well have pulled off a result.

Accepted and looking to take total advantage of the situation :)

Challenged The Heath CC, looking to keep my NRR at around 6, assuming Mork is doing to average NRR, not the adding one.
