I'd take Terry over Ferdinand every time, TBH. Terry's proven on more than one occasion that he'd run through a brick wall for his team, whereas Rio doesn't give the impression of being willing to run through a bead curtain. Plus, claiming Rio doesn't throw his toys out of the pram is a little wide of the mark. His protestations of innocence after missing a drug test and subsequent bleating to the press about the harshness of his ban were just pathetic.I can, i just look at John Terry.
Rio's matured alot, both on an off the pitch, in the last couple of years. People overlook the fact that on the pitch he's a pretty impressive leader, controls the back line very well, not afraid to give bollockings to the big names (or take them when he's gone to sleep). Doesnt throw his toys out of the pram when things arnt going his way (you listening Terry?), doesnt go whinging to the press. Think he's a good a selection as any IMO.
Oh, and did you not see Rio's World Cup Wind-Ups? A man responsible for a show that bad should never be put in charge of anything.
