Yeah may as well. Looks like i'll be going down to see them play Oxford as well, Kidderminster's pretty close to me too. Got a friend at Uni who supports Exeter, he'll be lauding it up about how they're going to beat us next season soon.

Kidderminster is the Holy Grail of Conference football catering.

Vitstl. Suppose the plus point of going down is that in theory we'll be one of the better teams in the division, although that's not especially been the case for some. (Scarborough, Exeter, Hereford for years, Halifax, Rushden, York, yeah doesn't look good)

Cambridge, Oxford, Kidderminster...

Haha, fairplay. I've just realized looking at the locations that it is a predominantly American forum, so they probably don't have long memories... still, shocking.

I've changed my tune somewhat about le Arse and their lack of English players, and indeed the lack of Engish players across the board... don't mind at all any more tbh.
In your unbiased opinion (:p) is the lack of English players what hurts Liverpool & Arsenal most in their chase for the league, and why United has the wood over them? It's amusing (and frustrating :() for me watching Liverpool crash & burn despite the fact that they (imo) have a very very good squad, yet cannot win crucial EPL matches.... I can only assume that a lack of local players plays a major part in it?

Yeah, I was very surprised. He shouldn't be allowed the captaincy for the same reasons Dwain Chambers can't ruin in the Olympics

Cambridge's bacon butties were once voted best in the league. (link) Ten years ago now tho, which is scary.
Rushden's burgers have big wraps. Looking forward to sampling one on my next visit in April. Not looking forward to the football part of that trip - City have visited Nene Park four times, lost all four, conceded nine and scored just one...

Absolutely ****ing disgusted by Rio's appointment as captain. I know it's all about their impact on the pitch and everything, and I know Capello probably doesn't know any better, but I just can't see past how much of an insufferable and irredeemable **** Ferdinand is.

Anyone else have a chuckle at Alex Ferguson's comments regarding the lack of protection for Ronaldo & skillful players being driven out of the game.

He must have a short memmory because if I remember correctly a few years ago when Man Utd couldn't compete technically with Arsenal he basically sent out his team to kick them off the pitch.

What the Neville Brothers did to Reyes in one of the games at Old Traford was far worse than anything Ronaldo has recieved.

I don't think I ever seen a worse case of bare faced hypocrisy.

Nothing worse than usual from Fergie, TBH. Complains that his team are being discriminated against, even when they're on course to win the title. Yes, Fergie, there's clearly a global conspiracy to make sure that your team.....only win the title by the minimum number of points?!? Why complain if you're on top anyway? Idiot. 8-)

I can, i just look at John Terry.

Rio's matured alot, both on an off the pitch, in the last couple of years. People overlook the fact that on the pitch he's a pretty impressive leader, controls the back line very well, not afraid to give bollockings to the big names (or take them when he's gone to sleep). Doesnt throw his toys out of the pram when things arnt going his way (you listening Terry?), doesnt go whinging to the press. Think he's a good a selection as any IMO.

Yeah, he's no worse than John Terry in my opinion and several others from the England side.
