So glad my 3 outfield subs scored 24 points and counting in the Fantasy Premier League...

Anyway good to see Liverpool get brushed aside.

Nothing wrong with his play IMO. Still gets into goal scoring positions.
Yes, then instead of going for the percentages he goes for the style points. Why drill the ball low and score 3-4 times out of 10 when you can try a chip and score 1 time out of 10...

Right that his finishing has nosedived but eventually he'll get it right. Would be worrying if he doesn't get the chances though.

Worrying for England that Rooney can't hit the side of a barn from 2 ft away.
So long as he keeps shooting and not laying it off for Anderson. Awful shooter. Wouldnt be surprised if he even failed to score at the christmas party.

(thanks to Jess/Rye, a friend of mine)

Will take a Chelsea win, too, if only because it keeps the possibility of us breaking their home-record open. I'm always looking forward to Chelsea away for that reason. Maybe this time!

Arsenal really are such a soft team. Blowing a 5 point lead twice in a season. Bottled away the Premiership.

Mascherano was brainless but when he actually get the red card it just seemed to me to be him actually asking why. The Torress booking was a total shocker. Nonetheless, Liverpool were shocking and should now see United claw to within one of their title haul

Oh how I love it when we stuff the Scouse wankers.

Have to say I thought we were majestic today, even before the sending off [which, given how much he hounded the ref beforehand too, was IMO thoroughly deserved (edit: browsing through the Caf, I wasn't the only one who called it before it happened)] we were well on top.

The idiocy of the sending off was that it all stemmed from a Scouse free-kick.

Arsenal are currently suffering from the failings of all Wenger sides, the reasons he has never retained the Premiership. They've all had the same weaknesses, for all their "better than Brazil" football, and they have the knack for self-destructing at just the wrong time.

Torres got fouled, won a free kick, then started sniping at the ref, obviously wanting a card shown for Rio. Finally made some sort of gesture with his hand and said something that got him a booking (for annoying the ref). So Mascherano charges over, fights off his teammates to ask the ref 'What happened'

Whats it matter what happened, if the ref needs to explain himself it should be to the captain and the captain only. Getting in the face of a ref your teammate has just wound up and repeatedly demanding an explanation for a free kick you've just won and obvious dissent from your teammate is ****ing dumb. Also, he wasnt just asking 'oh, what happened there?', looking at his body language, the aggressive gestures and the repeated barking of the phrase, he wasnt so much asking a question, more demanding an answer. Had a chance to back off, talked himself off the pitch.

Was hillarious IMO

The Mascherano red card has actually helped Benitz a bit by deflecting attention from an abject Liverpool peformance in the first half - they could have played with 12 players and I still don't think they would have scored.

Even 11 v 11 Man Utd always had an extra gear to go into & could even afford to carry Giggs & Anderson who did nowt.

Man Utd heavy favourites for the title now the only chance of an upset looks to be 3 matches in a row Man Utd have in early April:

Arsenal at home
Blackburn away
Chelsea away

An upset basically rests on Chelsea or Arsenal winning all of their other remaining games & turning Man Utd over in the match they have.
