**Official** England in New Zealand

Six wickets for Sid now. Regulation nick thru to Ambrose. Elliott the man to go. Who scored, in a nice piece of symmetry, six runs.

Glad I stuck with it after lunch & gladder I held off on the "FFS England" post I nearly made...

LOL wonder what the odds on an England first innings lead would have been at lunch...still might not happen if Vettori and Southee get going though...Sidey 6-33 wow

Yeah I was close to ranting too. Great comeback, but there's been some shocking batsmanship in this match.

Showing why we are ranked at #7 in the world.
Maybe we're giving England the false sense of security before we unleash Southee and Martin on them in the second inn's.

Hmm, did someone compare Southee to Cairns, I'll give them the bowling, but nah on the batting, don't think he should be bouncing any big pace bowlers from now on....

What the heck!!!!! Last time I turned to the station I saw NZ over 100 runs losing two wickets. I tune in again and see this. WI - like IMO.

That is simply a pathetic performance. From complete dominance with Fleming laying a foundation to complete and utter uselessness. I think this shows our inexperience. A game that should be won by New Zealand by far leading 75% of these matches is now going to be lost by some poor batting. Absolutely pathetic. 100/1 to all out prob before 160 is something that our players should be ashamed of.

Willis just pointing out that, aside from that one over from Colly, Sid & Broad have bowled unchanged all through that session. Pretty bloody fair effort for seamers.

Says a lot about the faith (or lack thereof) Vaughan has in Anderson too.

It's rather ironic that in a test where the Black Caps remembered the passing of probably NZ's best batting couch Merv Wallace, they have put together an utterly shameful batting display of their own. Leave, Sinclair - now. In fact, let's just bat with 10 in the second innings.

Safe to say that was Englands session. But we shouldnt relax just yet, we really need to get those last 2 wickets out asap after tea.

Patel can't bat well and martin cant at all. All in all 100 runs behind all out. Englands game and Nz are gone for all money. Very fustrating to see this after I thought we were improving in our batting since SA tour but obviously not. Very dissapointed
