Agreed, quite good actually but still I am yet to be convinced by his performances to the live crowd. I had lost lost touch with wrestling for 2 years and just regained interest 3 months back so maybe I had missed out on his good period.
Ah, yeah, he was without question better on SmackDown!. The live nature of Raw means he rarely gets to do his mic bit, and on SmackDown! he actually got put over occasionally. On Raw he's just been slowly buried, which means when the time comes that he gets an actual title push, it'll be difficult to take him seriously.

His feud with HBK produced three fantastic matches, but was never given a proper finish - the "culmination" was supposedly Kennedy eliminating HBK from the Rumble - and that's the only serious feud he's had since his feud with Undertaker concluded in late 2006. I'm praying that after WrestleMania, they stick this guy in a feud with Y2J over the Intercontinental belt, and let him show what he can do. There's no denying that the mic work between those two would be pure gold.

Ouch. Just heard that in the wake of his 60-day suspension without pay, the worst week of Jeff Hardy's life has been completed by the news that his house burned down on Friday night, destroying all his possessions and killing his pet dog. Feel so bad for the guy. He's got no pay coming in for the next 2 months and now he's got no home. :-O

I heard somewhere they were planning to put Jeff back in to the MITB match. Although i have also heard Matt Hardy will also be in the match.

Poor Jeff.

Jeff won't be back in. There's absolutely no chance, IMO. They announced on SmackDown! that Morrison was the final participant - there's an outside chance that they might add Matt in over the next two weeks, but I doubt it.

As for "poor Jeff", I have complete sympathy for him on the subject of his house burning down - it's an horrific thing to happen to anyone. However, I have absolutely no sympathy when it comes to his suspension. I don't buy into the bull**** about drug abusers being victims, it's entirely Jeff's own fault. And if it turns out that the house fire was caused by a stray joint left lying around, then my sympathy on that front will disappear too.

That main event on RAW was so daft for mine. Was suave to see Cena and Orton work together (and they pulled of some slick moves) but it buried everyone else so much.

Yeah, bet it was HHH's idea. No need to have guys like D.H. Smith pinned in about fifteen seconds, and the likes of Paul Burchill pinned in (IIRC) about two seconds flat. No wonder they have no decent midcard feuds any more on Raw, when the entire midcard is sacrificed at the expense of the main event. TBH, I prefer SmackDown! these days, by quite some distance. Move Kennedy back there after WM, move Y2J over and elevate CM Punk, then basically all my favourite guys would be on one show. Would save me some time.

I just watched Wrestlemania live, have to say I wasn't sure what to expect this year and I personally was blown away, thought it was a great night. Will talk about the matches more in detail when everyone has seen it. :)

Haha, Kane squashed Chavo in 10 seconds to win the ECW title.

In other news, JBL, CM Punk, Batista, HBK, Phoenix-Melina, Orton and Mayweather came out with victories.

Worst WM? Maybe. MiTB and HBK v Flair are probably the only matches carrying this card.

JBL v Finley = Meh.

Money in the bank was the poorest one I've seen yet but happy Punk won it. Disappointing spectacle considering the talent available to them.

Batista v Umaga was a trainwreck of a match. God I hate Batista and the garbage he throws us at PPV's.

The Orton swerve was excellent, just about everyone expected Trips to get his customary big even win or Cena to get another mega push down everyone's throat but I'm glad they proved us wrong. I marked out a bit at that ending and it was a Mania quality match to boot.

Mayweather vs Show was surprisingly convincing as well, thought they played that out well and Floyd sure got some sick heat from the crowd.

Flair vs Michaels was very solid and very well done by all involved, not exactly fans of either of them but they did well today.

Taker v Edge was the best match of the night though. Taker turned back the clock and Edge was great too; the only problem with the match was you knew Taker was never going to lose it no matter how many spears he was getting. Proper Main Event though.

Good Mania, not the best nor the worst I've seen. Gone off wrestling a lot but I'll still watch Mania when the time comes around.

JBL/Finlay worked well for me, nice to start the card with two dudes just kicking the crap out of each other with dustbin lids. Not quite sure why JBL got the victory though, makes no sense to me whatsoever but there you go.

MitB was awesome for me, best spots out of any MitB, the Morrison moonsault with the ladder, the Superplex/Powerbomb off the ladder by Shelton, Kennedy and Morrison were both sick. And I marked out like crazy when Matt Hardy came out, I was hoping they'd play his music at the start and have him as a surprise 8th contestant but yeah, love Matt Hardy and was stoked to see him out there. Was very happy Punk won, too, wasn't expecting that.

Batista/Umaga I didn't really watch 'cause I was busy getting food and drink because Batista bores the **** out of me. :D

Kane/Chavo was probably the worst point of the night for me, all that buildup from the commentators "Finally ECW title is defended on Wrestlemania, what a historic event!" and then yeah. The final crap on ECW's legacy, thanks Vince!

Flair/Michaels was awesome. I was hugely into it and they did not disappoint. The SCM Michaels hit on Flair were all brutal, it was great.

Diva match was entertaining because the lights went out. I thought it looked pretty cool with them off, but other than that it was funny when Santino got dicked by Snoop Dogg.

HHH/Orton/Cena was a good match and I marked out at the ending as well. Not really been the biggest fan of Orton but coming to like him more and more and the fact that he went over those two was totally unexpected and awesome, it makes him look like God. Really glad he managed to pull that one off.

Mayweather/Show was ****ing great xD Mayweather has gone up so much in my estimation because I was not sure how that match was gonna play out but man he took his licks from the Big Show. I was massively into it as soon as Big Show actually did his slap to the chest on Mayweather, then everything after was golden for me. Came off far better than it could have.

Taker/Edge then was indeed match of the night for mine, started off slow and just picked up and up and by the end I thought Edge was actually going to end the streak at one point it was getting so crazy, but Taker pulled it off in the end and I am glad for that. But yeah Edge comes out looking golden even though he lost. Awesome match, great way to end a good night for mine, really enjoyed it.

So Punk can challenge for any title now that hes won MITB? Would seem a bit of a waste if he used it simply to challenge for the ECW title again, considering that hes already won it before.

Overall though I thought it was an excellent Wrestlemania, very exciting matches and plenty of surprising turns. :)

Also liked how Orton retained the WWE title. Leaves open a lot more possibilities than another HH or Cena reign.
