Hughes, form permitting, will probably replace Hayden in 18 months - 2 years. However, Hughes won't get a CA contract this April. That said, Rogers will lose his contract as will Hodge. They will be replaced in the 25 by Katich and D Hussey. I also think Casson will replace Bailey in the 25 - and perhaps Noffke, Bollinger (god forbid) and maybe even Siddle will get contracts.

Come to think of it, it might be a good time to do a Cricket Australia 25 Contracted Players prediction thread. The group is announced in April.

Consistency has always been his problem. Will bowl genuinely awesome wicket balls with a lot of hideous crap inbetween. Rate his batting highly though.
