BARNES OUT

...or even Sting's friend Robocop.
My money say Y2J.Seriously, all my respect for Jeff has just gone completely out the window. The guy may have just ruined his shot at being WWE Champion forever, let alone this year. So, so stupid.
Not only am I pissed off with Jeff himself, I'm also pissed off that the MITB match is going to be significantly worse without him, they're going to have to have a different MITB winner (let's face it, Jeff was going to win), he's going to lose all his momentum when he comes back because all the fans are gonna know he was suspended for doing drugs...the list is endless.
Man, that has significantly decreased my excitement about this year in WWE. I was looking forward to Jeff's first title win, now all I've got to look forward to is his return from suspension.
Candidates for new MITB winner anyone? MVP, Kennedy again or Jericho for mine.
Would definitely like to see Punk get a push, but don't really think hes over enough at this point in time.I reckon Y2J or Punk will win
He's already been removed from the WrestleMania card.Oh, even if Hardy's suspended, I think it'll be one of those suspensions which will be Orton'd. He'll still be in storylines and matches, just won't get paid for them.
Or maybe he won't, and that clause is just there so Orton saves ass.
They didn't push him enough when he was over enough, now look at him. They script his promos which is a huge mistake given the quality of his mic work in ROH, and he's not been given a feud so far that doesn't revolve around "I want the ECW title". He's gone from Triple H allowing him to say "Are you ready?" to the crowd at Survivor Series 2006, to being pinned cleanly in three successive title matches against the same guy.Would definitely like to see Punk get a push, but don't really think hes over enough at this point in time.
They certainly pushed Austin hard enough. Can WWE push a non WWE talent though?
The good thing about Vince is, he gives atleast one sustained opportunity to shine to all wrestlers who are termed as good potentials by some knowledgeble insiders even if he himself does not rate them too highly and then its up to that individual how he uses that opportunity. I believe Punk still has yet to recieve that opportunity so there is still hope for him. They certainly pushed Austin hard enough.
Punk, though, has lost everything that made him popular back in RoH. He just isn't as good a face as he is the straight-edged heel.
Austin never did main even though. They certainly pushed Austin hard enough.

If it's a young talent like Punk, who came from a company that's not direct competition for WWE (ROH even sell WWE merchandise on their website IIRC), then I'm sure Vince would have no qualms about it. Especially given that Punk doesn't do drugs. Can WWE push a non WWE talent though?
Why are people jumping on the Kennedy bandwagon. I think he will end up a good solid upper mid-carder but he just dosen't have that 'X' Factor yet which just makes him stand out from othersIf it's a young talent like Punk, who came from a company that's not direct competition for WWE (ROH even sell WWE merchandise on their website IIRC), then I'm sure Vince would have no qualms about it. I'm going on record right now and saying Punk will be a multi-time WWE Champ. He, Cena, Kennedy, MVP and John Morrison are going to be carrying the company in five years' time.
Look on YouTube for "Kennedy Declares". It's a segment he was given on SmackDown! for a little while, but it was so funny he couldn't get over as a heel any more, so they only did it about three times. The 'Tom Cruise' one is the best, if you can find that. Also worth a look if you can find it elsewhere is Ken's appearance on The Tom Green Show - as insufferable as I find Tom Green, it was actually a very entertaining and interesting show.Sure will have a look then get back.
Agreed, quite good actually but still I am yet to be convinced by his performances to the live crowd. I had lost lost touch with wrestling for 2 years and just regained interest 3 months back so maybe I had missed out on his good period. The 'Tom Cruise' one is the best, if you can find that.
