Always going to happen, Newcastle were always fighting to keep Danny in the team. This year both Danny and Kurt (Gidley) were off-contract and in reality only one could be retained, and the Knights went for Kurt and re-signed him. TBH this could be a good thing for the year, Danny will look to leave on a good note and will play as hard as possible. Only problem is we now have to look for a young player to fill the role next year after Seu Seu was fired.
