I gave him an offer he couldnt refuse.

EDIT: He is going for the Remarkable-Exceptional Wonderful-Exceptional 20yr old. Was going to list Poke to go after him, but now wont.
Haha, didn't mean to scare you off. Probably won't go after him, list Pokeh.

There's something wrong with The Heath CC if we don't finish this game off with a day to spare at the very least. None of their team has a wage over £1k so I'm hoping that this will be an absolute walk in the park. It looks that way at the moment.

i say concentrate on the cup for the time being, unless you've bigger aspirations in od or fc. if you can reach the semis this is something you can always brag up a storm about later at the cricketweb battrick forum.
TBH even if we got knocked out of first round ever cup, I would still find ways to brag about how gun my side is. My head is that big when it comes to BT.

Coming first in both FC and OD, so I would like to promote in one form atleast. I'm leaning towards FC, as with my bowling attack and batting temperments I think my side is more suited to FC. Only issue is player stamina levels for FC, need more players around the respectable mark to play a full season of FC. Might just let the players decide, if they win these next two FC matches we will go up in FC and stay down in OD.

End of Over 37 (10 runs). Jaffna Jets: 147-2, runrate=3.97

Muralitharan* 30 (31 balls)
Lucas 76 (111 balls)

Last Wicket: Quintin lbw b. Ireland 4 (FOW: 91/2)
They have a very good batting line up, so I'm quite stoked to knock them over for under 200. Jeithoon with 5 and Willetts with 4. Lucas leading the way with the bat, with good support from Murali. Need a lead with these two at the crease, as we could get rolled for nothing once they depart.

Played full strength for first time ever in FC. Nailed it. 400/0 declared and bowled them out twice. Missed a trick for most of season really so far by playing weak sides all the time to save PFL, when I could play full side for away game and get it over with and preserve some morale for my beatings on Fridays.

Both openers out just before the close of play, and in their 30s, though at least they both made starts. Oh well my top order blues continue.

slog monsters XI: 84 (48) Lucas 3/9, Hardy 3/24, Hamed 2/10, Woods 1/23

The Heath CC: 345/5 (62) Knight 122, Grant 66, Bartlett 50*

Good effort from the bowlers, although I'm a little bemused as to why Woods wasn't more successful. A nice debut performance from Hamed, with tidy figures of 2/10 from 10 overs. Knight hit his first century for The Heath in reply, with good support from Grant and a quickfire unbeaten 50 from Bartlett. I'll push on tomorrow and declare at 360 and hopefully bowl them out quickly, giving us a day off to rest before Friday's big game against Coatham Sloggers.

Bot-bash. Thankfully it's away today. 211/0 (24) thumps 70 all out (46).

Mildly amused there's no BT20 fixtures up yet. To be expected though.
