Cameraman did well to only get vision of backside of the streaker.
I don't think they should have booed Bracken. Ponting, on the other hand.......All Indians. Most of the Aussie fans had left. Plenty of Indians left to celebrate their wonderful victory, but was poor form to boo Ponting.
Get the feeling Aus might threaten to quit the series half-way as well.oh thats pretty bad
man that tour will be so stressful
thought the ch 9 commentators were really nice about the indians actually.. especially bill lawry and stuff..
Look, I'm not Ponting's biggest fan, reckon he goes over the top most of the time, but I think he handled it really well. He was gracious in defeat and praised the Indians. I know there's been a lot of feeling this summer, but it just made the Indian fans look very poor and petty.I don't think they should have booed Bracken. Ponting, on the other hand.......
I saw a little bit of **** TBH.Cameraman did well to only get vision of backside of the streaker.
Exactly. Ponting's conduct throughout the ODI series was perfect. It was ridiculous to boo him and especially Bracken who has done nothing but play superb cricket all tournament.Look, I'm not Ponting's biggest fan, reckon he goes over the top most of the time, but I think he handled it really well. Can't wait to see the Hayden/Hopes opening partnership tbh. Should be good fun.I saw a little bit of **** TBH.
Looks like Hopes has earnt a lot of respect from Aussie fans this tour. Seems to me he'll become the next big 'cult' player now that the Huss is firmly entrenched in all sides and has been around the Aussie set up for a while.
Lol, like Australia never get abuse when they tour...Get the feeling Aus might threaten to quit the series half-way as well.
There's going to be alot of abuse directed towards the aussie players on and off the field no doubt. Lets see how they handle themselves... not going to be easy. I don't advocate it but you just know its going to happen.
It might actually unite Aus more but just hope the crowds don't take things too far.
Yeah. Ponting was disgracful during the test series, but was much better during the ODI series. Bracken definitely didn't deserve to get booed.Exactly. Ponting's conduct throughout the ODI series was perfect. It was ridiculous to boo him and especially Bracken who has done nothing but play superb cricket all tournament.
It's international sport, you're gonna get booed.Look, I'm not Ponting's biggest fan, reckon he goes over the top most of the time, but I think he handled it really well. That's true. Doesn't mean he deserved it though. It's international sport, you're gonna get booed.
Sure he did. He's an arrogant ass. It would be like me complaining if/when Harbhajan gets abused by the crowds. He's an arrogant ass too, and the crowds are welcome to him. That's true. Doesn't mean he deserved it though.
is it just me or are Indian fans more concerned about their team winning than fans of Aussie cricket who just want a good contest as well (not a bad thing necessarily btw)... i think that makes em really hungry and so passionate..and yea, a bit over the top sometimesGet the feeling Aus might threaten to quit the series half-way as well.

If the Aussies do withdraw..........they will hear no end of "Whinger" comments.......specially after all that was printed about the 'rumor' regarding BCCI threatening to withdraw.Get the feeling Aus might threaten to quit the series half-way as well.

If no one flares the situation up again the crowds wont be too bad. People have relatively short memories and they're not going to get fired up for something that happened months ago. I mean everyone said the Australian crowds would 'return the favour' to India after issues in the ODI series, but as far as I know it didn't happen pre-Sydney controversy. Unless someone decides to flare things up, you might have some of the usual idiots in the crowd doing their usual thing, but it wont be as grave a situation as people are predicting, imo.Get the feeling Aus might threaten to quit the series half-way as well.

Its going to be abuse another magnitude.Lol, like Australia never get abuse when they tour...
Well, that'd be a shocking change from everyone concerned........... gotta let the bat do the talking....
yea yea i know its a clicheWell, that'd be a shocking change from everyone concerned.......
Nope.......the one word you will not hear will be 'monkey'........but besides that you will hear every other abuse in the dictionary thrown at Symonds/Hayden/Ponting(from the crowd that is).no doubt that M word will be talked about again *yawn
