I think his 2 WCs, 5-0 Ashes win and holding just about every trophy on offer atm kind of balance it a bit, but yeah, it was a very weird field.

I don't think he is a bad captain, but I do think he has been helped immensely by the team he got to lead.....
I think he has improved as a captain over the years and perhaps last year was his best as a captain, between the super series and upto the WC last year, but he doesn't strike me as the sort who will make it to my top 5 captains list.

.good batting pitch, short boundaries and really quick outfield probably means 260 will not be easy to defend against hayden, gilchrist, ponting, clarke and symonds...

Who knows, they way the games have been going this year? In Sydney you'd think 300+ woud be comfortable, but India got within 20 odd. Depends if the Aussies hit straight, the boundaries in that part of the ground aren't that long.
