You then get a stumping which looks extremely close, impossible to tell 100% with the naked eye, & the same umpire doesn't refer to the TV umpire.sigh, the umpire was standing on top of the stumps, had a clear as day view, symonds was in bu about 2m and he still calls for the 3rd umpire.
Hayden might well have been stumped last over, the umpire chose not to call for the replay, but the recorded images show he could have been out. Looks a close thing,
Harbi's been getting booed pretty strongly in every match since after Sydney. Interesting with the third umpire there, I probably wouldn't have called for it given that it didn't really look like a problem at first sight and the Indian appeal was fairly half hearted (iirc), but if you're going to go up to the third umpire for a runout which was in by an absolute mile, then why would you not go up for the stumping that wasn't half as obvious.Jeers for Harbhajan as he comes on to bowl don't often see that in international cricket. Remember Steve Waugh & Glenn Mcgrath getting it in West Indies at different times also Warnie in England but definately a rare occurace.
