Hayden is a monkey because he pointed out that Bhajji is an obnoxious weed? You want to take a step back and actually look at the behaviour record of both players?Symonds is a monkey... And that has nothing to do with how he looks, rather how he acts.
And so too with Hayden. These are as true as Bhajji being an obnoxious weed..
I am not agreeing with Hayden's honesty in saying what he thinks. I don't think that was the right route. But I can't deny I agree with his appraisal of Harbhajan's behaviour.Harbhajan is not the nicest guy but then so are not hayden and symonds.
Haydent is a " big idiotic ape" and symonds a "a arrogant chimpanzee".How would they feel if
harbhajan called them that in public?
What is really irking me here that if the bcci can issue specific guidelines to sreesanth and bhajjit to calm down, why cannot the CA?
And yet bcci is accused of doing what they want.
I don't see the irony. What's Hayden done to be in the same circle as Harbhajan? The irony of Hayden calling someone obnoxious anyone?
If you had to hand out an award for biggest wanker in cricket Hayden and Roy would be joining Bhaj on the shortlist without a doubt.
Yes, Hayden's an ass because he pointed that out. And quite the moron too, for not realizing you shouldn't make public comments about someone in what is already an acrimonious tour.Hayden is a monkey because he pointed out that Bhajji is an obnoxious weed?
It has nothing to do with whether those statements were correct or not.You want to take a step back and actually look at the behaviour record of both players?
Is this a serious post? All you knockers of the aussies must remember this.....
The Aussies are NUMBER 1 in ALL forms of the game played. and while trying to remain unbiased and objective I feel this whole bloody tour by India has been a farce with India NOT being competitive on the pitch and they have deliberately set out to knock "The Tall Poppy" syndrome out of the Aussies and it has not worked...The sooner they go home the better!!!!!!!!!!!
Hayden called Harbhajan "an obnoxious weed" on radio and it didn't take long for the Indians to hit back. "If he's said this, he's gone crazy," an unnamed Indian player told the Hindustan Times.
"It's not strategy, it's insane and asking for a fight. And if he wants that, we'll give it to him."
The player also criticised Hayden for his on-field sledging, for which the Indians believe he should be penalised. "He will not stop making sarcastic or plain rude remarks, whether he is fielding or batting. It is very difficult to not get upset and we don't see why he is allowed to get away with his constant barbs."
...
Meanwhile, excerpts from the letter sent by Indian team management to match referee Jeff Crowe after Sunday's fiery clash explain how the tourists have tried to limit their sledging during the series, only to be verbally hammered by the Australians.
"Even if we have tried to play in the spirit of the game, some of the players from the Australian side have made a few comments that has brought disharmony to the game," the letter said.
Haha to be honest, the reaction would probably be similar. If Dravid had said something about Symonds I'd definitely buy it.Yeah, agreed. I am sure the reactions would have been different if some Indian had called Symonds an obnoxious weed.
I think for someone who misses the boat on racial remarks, and what racism is, should stay clear from calling someone a monkey. Call him an idiot .Symonds is a monkey... And that has nothing to do with how he looks, rather how he acts.
And so too with Hayden. These are as true as Bhajji being an obnoxious weed..
Same Indian public made monkey noises and gestures at Symonds. That IS a racist thing to do. It doesn't mean all Indians are racist, however.Funny thing about racism and racist comment..... Indian public have given hero's welcome to the likes of Lara and Richards and yet when one guy with those origins who plays for Australia and who does act like an ape gets called a "monkey", it is racism???
As I said, totally different to when Lehmann referred to the whole Lankan team as something extremely offensive AND racist.....
I agree it CAN be considered a racist comment and therefore should be banned, but to suggest and actually prove that it was intended to be racist would be a big big leap.
If he said that to Ponting I could see the similarity.Would there have been the same amount of outcry if Harbhajan called Ponting or Jaques or any of the others a monkey? No.
Man, Hayden really comes off as a dickhead in that and the imitation of the accent is more than a bit offensive...and the radio hosts sound like idiots. Here are full comments by Hayden. Loved his imitation of Sharma's accent.
Yes, and bar that Hayden hasn't been much better than Bhajji? Because that's what's being said and that's ridiculous.Yes, Hayden's an ass because he pointed that out. And quite the moron too, for not realizing you shouldn't make public comments about someone in what is already an acrimonious tour.
It has everything to do with those statements being correct or not because their correctness is what I agree with, nothing else. I didn't agree with Hayden doing that, but I agree with his judgment on Harbhajan Singh. It has nothing to do with whether those statements were correct or not.
Yup. Australia are quickly going from the team I liked the most after India in 2005, to probably the team I least like to read, hear or even watch. Sucks because they play such good cricket. Yea, let's call out a 19 year old who is almost half your age into a boxing ring, and make fun of his accent. That's real mature from the dickhead extraordinaire. That's Hayden's new nickname, 'DE' for short..Man, Hayden really comes off as a dickhead in that and the imitation of the accent is more than a bit offensive...and the radio hosts sound like idiots.
What more needs to be said. World class wanker. Here are full comments by Hayden. Loved his imitation of Sharma's accent.
