Wenger, 'Martin Taylor should never play football again'...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7260564.stm
Ban him untill Eduardo can play football again. Horrific tackle, don't see how you can hit him so latye and so high up on his leg.

Then again I'm sure McLeish sent his lads out there fired up about wanting to put it up the foreign pansies and that may have caused the brain explosion. Just hope Duducan walk again let alone play football again.

I swear if City played a girls under-12 side we'd look comfortable for the first half, but be hanging on come the end.

Still 3 points is 3 points and all that twaddle.....................

I've edited out those photos - changed them to links, even with the warning you provided, they're not appropriate for a family forum.

Look, Dong was bought for shirt sales, end of story, the facts show that. As sledger said, Park wasn't bought entirely for his shirt sales (though it was still a big reason) but Dong just was.

As for Brown, he can **** off, he is as Mitchell said average by United standards, not bad but not first choice, and £50,000 is an obscene amount of money for a player of his quality.
Nah failo to believe that. Wouldn't be a Ferguson decision to buy a player purely for commercial reasons. Have it be a factor, yes but not the sole reason. Plus he's not the type of manager Gill would be able to push around. Any player bought SAF believes has a chance to help on the field or the potential to do so. Dong was the latter as well as having commercial value.
Go to China, you'll get the point.
What point? Obviously he'll have an impact financially. Didn't say he wouldn't.

Thing is, would a bigger Chinese name be happy to basically cash in his cheques from Man Utd and then go rot in Belguim? Fan Zhiyi was good enough to actually play in the Premiership but he'd certainly not be good enough to play for Man Utd.
Makes more sense to pick an up and coming player who's getting a few caps, so you can let him rot and say that you're developing him and say he has potential instead of just leaving out some player who people would accuse that they simply weren't good enough to be signed in the first place.
Makes a good point. Thought all players could get a work permit if they played the certain amount of matches and/or their country's high enough in the rankings or is China different?

You said something like this ages ago and someone reeled off a list of examples which made it look pretty stupid.

Anyway I was nervous about this Messiah game, however United playing excellent stuff. There really is only one Kevin Keegan, as the fans are singing.

I'd like to see that list. Pretty sure it'd be full of flops but still doesn't mean they were bought only for non-football purposes.

In the first one of those graphic pictures edited out by Jamee, you could certainly make the case for it not being a yellow - the foot is low, and it is single-footed. Another photo suggests the foot is very high indeed, so I don't know. We need a video really.

Cast-iron red on there for mine. Wait and see for MOTD I guess, assuming they show it. Sky didn't do a single replay.
