This is what it feels like to beat your hated local rivals at their shop for the first time in 34 years.

Safe to say he's enjoyed that more than slightly.

Blatter pooh-poohs "international round"

From the Beeb.

"This will never happen, at least as long as I am the president of Fifa."

Not much room for equivocation there. Although, much as I agree with old Shep's sentiments, ultimately it's none of FIFA's business if the host FA agrees to stage a Prem game.

Fair play Aberdeen coming away with a draw against B.Munich
Great result and Bayern had at most of their big guns playing.

Also good win by Bolton against Atletico. Kun Aguero's buy out clause must be worth more than Bolton's council budget.

While technically it may not be, in practise if he doesn't want it it won't happen.

Glad he's taken a stand, anyways.

tbh although i'm not a fan of sepp blatter, his opinions regarding the overseas premiership games is bang on imo, he's completely right to slate the premiership for attempting to bring in more cash thruogh these means, I really hope that with this mounting pressure the FA abandon this plan, as its absolutely ridiculous, greedy, inpracticle and pointless.

Wahey, get in, 2-0, could be useful psychologically this - le Arse do have a lot of unavailable players but they are playing, as far as I can see at least, their strongest side available.

Just toying with us tbh. 3-0 flatters Arsenal. :(
Well the only consolationf or the Arse is that idiot Eboue being sent off. I really think he's shocking and one of Arsenes rare misjudgments, rarely makes a fair cross or a fair tackle.

The loss of Toure for the African Nations Cup was made up for Arsenal by the loss of him IMHO.

Lehmann has been ****e this match too.
