Dead Badger

State 12th Man
Bromby goes for 86 in the last over before lunch, leaving Janes to get the batting points with the tail. Should be fine, though, barring a collapse; hoping for a two-day match to make a bit of money while still allowing a rest day before another big OD test.

End of Over 35 (3 runs). Beard XI: 209-3, runrate=5.97
Matthews 4-0-27-1
Janes* 83 (88 balls)
Ganfield 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Bromby lbw b. Matthews 86 (FOW: 209/3)

Have a potential 5 days of home cricket this week; if this match goes to three days I could get almost half a million in gate receipts by Saturday. :)

End of Over 41 (2 runs, 1lb). Swamibapa Leeds CC: 146-5, runrate=3.56
Lumsdon	10-1-26-1
Samiullah*	55 (106 balls)
Cooper	36 (66 balls)
Last Wicket: Bridges m b. Tierney 0 (FOW: 59/5)
Samiullah and Cooper join forces to save the team from what was quickly becoming an embarrassing collapse. By the way they have closed the Pimms tent for some reason.

I thought he got banned from BT recently for some NT management weirdness; his team doesn't look botted, mind. Crazy match, though; his seamers are running riot against far (well, mostly :-)) superior batsmen on a dusty pitch. Weird.

Sutton 22 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Grant Run Out 5 (FOW: 17/1)

Wow - amazed at how good my PFLs are at the moment. Everyone in my team has Sublime PFL (barring Kerr, who is Energetic), and that's with another three updates before my OD game on Friday.

Will be needed with my games next week... the top sides in both FC and OD :(

I believe so -- he was a persistent offender, mind. Bizarrely, his team hasn't been botted...maybe it just takes a while or something when someone's banned rather than leaves the game?

Playing him early in the season won't help -- his PFLs will be shagged within a few weeks, so other teams in the league should reap the benefits.

Crazy match, though; his seamers are running riot against far (well, mostly :-)) superior batsmen on a dusty pitch. Weird.
Tell me about it!

Pup 117/10
Withington 115/10
Pup 29/5 and counting

So much for gate receipts!

EDIT: Just seen today's scorecard -- Fish, Reed and Sandwith with just 6 runs between them! That's a Remarkable/Remarkable, Wonderful/Remarkable and Exquisite/Exquisite! Hopefully there won't be a repeat performance in my 2nd innings...

Skittled the oppo for 37 on the opening morning and then my openers smashed their way to 49 off 6 overs before lunch. Good signs

Christ that is a nice buy. I can't wait until I'm finished with my trainees so I can get some decent 17 year olds for cheap.

yeah there was an awesome Allrounder going for absolutely bugger all earlier but I don't have the free spaces to train anyone, which sucked big time. :(

My PFL is holding quite well too, which is great, as i dont have anyone with higher than proficient stamina. Everyone at Sublime as of right now. Have a match vs Zulus Warriors on Friday which im GFI'n in hope that he doesnt play full strength and I can sneak a win.
