Woken up. Turned TV on. Yelled at commentators twice for being idiots.

1) Nothing is stopping spinners getting leg-side stumpings off wides
2) There is no point in India keeping wickets in hand. D/L does not change the fundamentals - i.e. score as many runs as you can.

FTR, Australia's target will be increased by approximately 1.

I agree. I think that's just the miminum IND need to score to have any chance. But I personally think even if the target were like 250, AUS would win easily on this wicket.
how so? it will move a lot on this wicket through the air i reckon and even off the pitch..

1) Cuz it's Indian bowling attack.
2) I'm not sure there will be much movement. Maybe with the new ball a bit, but not after that.

Let's just see. I think AUS will chase this total down, maybe 3-4 wickets down at most.

at the Gabba the ball stays new for about 20 overs lol

all the 3 seamers i think will be a handful

dissappointed in Aus chasing this.... after being 6/128 i didnt think they'd be making close to 200....

196 to win by my maths. Unless overs are lost again now, in which case...

Australia left with 40 overs = 184 to win
35 overs = 170 to win
30 overs = 155 to win
25 overs = 137 to win
20 overs = 117 to win

4.3 runs an over then, if Neil is correct. Could be tricky, given that Australia are without Hayden and the pitch looks as though it will favour the bowlers. India really need to get Gilchrist early, and Sreesanth has to bowl well.

45 minute break is ludicrous. Not only should the break eat into the innings break, but I think that it should also be closer to 30 minutes just for the aid of the spectators and the viewers at home. It is not like 15 minutes will make a massive difference.

that is harsh.... imo ..the 20 over mark anyway
