So with Hodge listed at # 3, who's opening with Gilly?

I assume M. Hussey, Clarke and Symonds will stay in their 4, 5 & 6 positions, so that leaves Voges, D.Hussey or Hopes to open...

One thing for sure, it's a hell of a batting line-up with Noffke, Hopes and Lee batting 8 to 10 :)

It's quite possible Hopes will open I suppose, but Clarke opened in the last Twenty20 so I'd expect him to do so again.

Just checking out the women's T20 game that's on before the Aus-India T20...

Australia seems to have a good blend of youth and experience (17 to 33), the Captain has Ponting like batting stats, they have a set of twins (aka the Waughs), they have a World Class Allrounder (pity the men don't) and they have someone born outside of Australia (from India), which I haven't seen since Dav Whatmore.......

Gilchrist
Clarke
Hodge
Mike Hussey
Symonds
Voges
Dave Hussey
Hopes
Noffke
Lee
Bracken

is the likely line-up. Batsmen all over the place. And lots of bowling options as well tbh. We'll win in a canter.

Shocking shot from Gambhir. Then again, I'll probably find myself saying that to every dismissal tonight, so there you go. Good change-up (err.. I think?) by Bracken.

Wow that was a superb piece of fielding from the Aussie captain to dismiss Sehwag and now Gambhir is back in the pavillion too, so good start by the Aussies.
Btw its great to see Hussey Jr. finally get a game!!!!!!

3rd wicket down.........India in dire straits.

Nope make that the 4th.........India in a deep hole.........a score of 100 looks difficult now.

puck how will david get a bat at this rate lol
Yeah my main concern as well, tbh. Very interesting stuff re: such a huge crowd and its effect on the batsmen. Some people including Dhoni said this crowd would have no impact but that's clearly not the case.

There goes Gavaskar, bull****ting once again taking the watching public to be idiots.

Explaining Harsha's observation on both Uthappa and gautam Gambhir driving off the front foot to off side fielders who are not placed too deep, Gavaskar explains that these two guys have just come to Australia and are not likely to be used to the pace on the Australian wickets as compared to those in India, hence they may have been caught because the ball came on much quicker than the batsmen expected.

Really Mr Gavaskar !!

Love how Australia always gets our newbie batsmen (in this case D.Hussey) a bowl, just gets them into the game and makes them feel more apart of the team.
