Wow - smashing baby!

Loved Bill's "Dive, dive, dive" and Nicholas' "aye aye Submarine captain" :)

Jeez Clarke handled the field placings well. When Gilly goes he should definitely be VC in the ODIs - not sure about Tests yet, but he does seem to have a good knack for the tactics of at least the shorter form.

This is what the stupid and ignorant indian selectors get for not selecting their best players. A thrashing. I wish australia had batted first this game wont last long.

But this is pretty much the squad that won the 20-20 world cup....

India can't keep going back to Ganguly and Tendulkar....its not like they were winning anything with the old gang.

Give the young ones a chance IMO.

Hate the Rogue Traders with a passion and it sounds like the crowd does as well. Gagfc.
I've come out the computer to check in here, so couldn't see the picture and hence didn't realise that noise was the Rogue Traders.

tbh, I thought a cat had got stuck in a tree stump shredder...

What sort of pace did Praveen Kumar bowl at ?
he's quite sharp.. thought he'd be a dibbly dobbler
cant remember but perhaps mid 130s

anyone else find it interesting that aussies are playing better cricket on this slow pitch (Bracken/Hopes/the shifty spinners)... should be good for india ..though not much can be said in 2020 but same happened in the test

Agree,It has been surprising that indians have not been able to do their best on a slow wicket but did better on the fastest wicket in perth.
Btw, both the melbourne games can be put down to lack of warm up.I also do not know that indians are too used to play on these kind of wickets as wickets in india tend to have uneven bounce more than uneven pace.

"We will take the Twenty20 as one of the practice games," he said.

"We will look to win, but that's best that the reserve guys have come in and join the squad, so we need to get the best out of it and hopefully the weather will be better for cricket tomorrow."
Bad attitude by the dhoni at the start and the rest of the players followed.
