hmm, this employment of dennis wise is pretty poor show if you ask me, keegan apparently had no idea this was going to happen, strikes me that wise has been brought in to take over as manager from keegan, and keegan to be kept on as a sort of puppet ruler as it were until wise gets the green light, were I keegan i really wouldnt be best pleased about this, neither would I be if I were a newcastle fan.

Happy with Preston in the FA Cup, very happy. Also happy with the signing of Baros, very promising acquisition. I'm still finding it very hard to get used to supporting a team that actually has prospects.

erm..well i personally think benjani is ok, scored some decent goals this year, and dont really rate baros that much lol, problem with baros is that he just runs runs runs runs runs runs runs runs....etc... but rarely does anything at the end of these runs, not a bad player by any means, decent, but lacking in substance a little too often for mine.

That's exactly what Benjani was like last time I saw him. 150% effort, no talent. He's obviously producing the goals a lot more often these days, so fair play to him.

That's 16 out of our last 19 FA cup ties against Premier League opposition. But we always get the easy draws, don't we?

Still, at least Liverpool and Chelsea must be due for tough draws too... oh, right.
I think Arsenal will be more pissed off than us - for us it's a good chance to knock them out now, I'd rather play them at home than away or at a neutral ground later on.

Bit of advice for anyone who's partial to a bet - put a few bob on Pompey to win the FA Cup this year. Besides the Big Four, two of whom are playing each other in the last 16, we're the best side left in it.
