the seedings are made on the thursday before the tournament, she was ranked 3 and Ivanovic 4, come monday when the new rankings came out Jankovic fell to 4 cause she didnt defend enough points from Sydney last year.

So hope Tsonga wins in a 5 set thriller, sick of Nadal vs Federer.

Went to work when Ivanovic dropped her first serve of the second set, was amazed to see she came back from that. Anyone who watched it, was it a Hantuchova choke or some Ivanovic brilliance?

Hantuchova tightened no doubt, but Ivanovic definitely lifted when it looked like she was going to lose.

This guy is sublime. How mouth watering is the prospect of a Federer/Tsonga final. That is like a double dose of class and elegance on the tennis court.

Women’s tennis on the other hand…I’m disillusioned with. The skill level is not there. The power hitting and the athleticism maybe, but the all court game? Sadly missing from all these eastern European clones.

And grrrr: why does everyone else rotate but Courier sits three like some court master. I am so sick of him. If he says conversation one more time when referring to a tennis point… Rotate him out!

Sharapova doesn't bring much different to the tennis court in terms of play compared to the Williams sisters tbh. She is more power like the Williams sisters and unlike say Henin. Don't have a problem with either Sharapova or the Williams sisters but I don't see how if you despised Williams sisters in the finals, you can like the prospect of Sharapova in it.
